fourfourtwo
the ones without seam splits are going to be limited editions. I got me one of those! Look for it on ebay, 1/1! SUPER RAREEEE. hahaha. I guess I got lucky with that one, although it was rainy and I was worried my mailman would leave my stuff outside to get wet. graveface
Hey dudes, I'm totally shocked and bothered that anyone has received a product in subpar condition. I've had like 2 complaints in 7 years but with this record, about 7 or 8. I'm not sure if it's the post offices fault (I know it was in the case of the DeadMX as that is nuts!) or mine for not packing it well enough. Regardless, I'm all about making folks as happy as humanly possible so please, if you want to exchange it or whatever, email me: [email protected]. Terribly sorry folks. Seriously. googlemyass
im not going to return it, but i would suggest wrapping it better next time. the tape was falling off of my package when it arrived, it felt like very cheap dollar store packing tape. graveface
Thanks for the tip but I use normal packing tape. Nothing cheap. Something happened at the post office that I've never used before. Take a look at DeafMx's picture on page 3. That's fucking insane. Several packages were opened. Regardless, apologies all around.

graveface
Thanks for the kind words. It's just frustrating to spend so much time and money on something and the fucking USPS ruins 1-2% of the copies sent. It could be worse I suppose. It could be every copy! trontank
Mine has a seam split too (I suggest shipping the record outside of the sleeve next time), other than that I am very pleased with how this release turned out. Thanks for throwing in all the nice extras, too!
thebaroness
Got my order today, no seam split! Love the Marshmallow Ghosts 7", and all the cool shit thrown in with my order. Graveface are fast becoming one of my favorite labels in terms of quality and presentation of their releases, so I'm glad my favorite band (The Appleseed Cast) is signed to them. Fragile collectibles should be packaged appropriately to prevent damage in transit. In our experience, split seams for phonographic records are generally a result of insufficient packing allowing the vinyl disc to move about the box during transit. somethingvinyl
Bumping this because there are two pressings of this album now and I can't figure out which is which. From Graveface: First pressing was 1000 copies on transparent monster electric green/baby blue opaque/red and white splatter vinyl w/ an 11x17 poster folded and tucked inside. Second and current pressing is on ultra clear vinyl with lots of black, white and highlighter yellow splatter. Still comes with the poster and the second pressing is 500 copies. Does anyone have pictures of both? I have one that looks greenish but also highlighter yellow. Any help?
deafmx
did you see the pics in the thread? the Chicago flood washed out Graveface HQ along with the remaining copies of the first pressing. i'm pretty sure this was one of the records Ryan said was damaged anyway. Here's a snap... still waiting on mine, but it's on its way, can't wait.posted on another forum: googled this from the Graveface board. Second and current pressing is on ultra clear vinyl with lots of black, white and highlighter yellow splatter.

somethingvinyl
Badass. I didn't even look at the thread. Thanks for the examples guys. I googled the images but never saw the clear. I got a first press copy. Woo. P.S. I love this album. I love all Appleseed Cast releases but because this record is so straight-forward and has traditional song structure, I think this is my favorite album of theirs. shamrocks
man im a little disappointed if thats true. im not sure an album with three pressings already (and a fourth in black pending, per the site) needed an "archival release", at least not before the true OOP classics from GF

I already have all of the pressings of this and was hoping that the archival stuff would at least start with stuff never available on vinyl (As If By Ghosts for chrissake!!) and then later do some cool colors of stuff that's been unavailable for a while. On a positive note, I was finally able to get a decently priced colored Sagarmatha recently!
drds89
the archival series already in stores, wow, just wow.
shamrocks
im really really surprised about this, no email from graveface to club members, no mention on facebook...was expecting something with indiegogo, and then a repress of this album which isnt really that hard to find...i cant figure out what this is all about and whats the point of the "archival" series
