Visited 4 record stores, but brunch came first. Saturday morning they told me I got most of my requests done, but I just got an email saying I was refunded $60 some for some records that were already gone So I still managed: Tron Translucence Red Hot Chili Peppers/Ramones Fela Kuti Deftones Pinback I mean I seriously cannot complain if I managed to get Tron, Pinback, and Deftones, three of my biggest requests, and I didn't even have to stand in line. Just kind of disappointed...I thought I had Gorillaz in the bag, and I really wanted Big Star's Third and that Karen Elson 7". Oh well! I was actually pretty surprised at all the exclusive releases they had and what made it better is that there was almost no line. Probably 15 people at most when I got there. Anyway, this is what I got my hands on: Glassjaw- Worship & Tribute Kings of Leon- Holy Roller Novocaine Regina Spektor- Four From Far The White Stripes- Let's Shake Hands The White Stripes- Lafayette Blues They also had a $1 sidewalk sale and I got myself a bunch of classic rock LP's. Today I picked up (since it was all I could afford): Circa Survive - Appendage (I know they have at least one more copy, and it was only $10!) BtBaM - The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (Green) Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American Transit - Promise Nothing (Clear/Blue) Coheed and Cambria - The Second Stage Turbine Blade (White) They were out of Manchester Orchestra and Glassjaw (the other two things I wanted). But, they had plenty of leftovers of most exclusives. Things I saw leftover: Fucked Up - David's Town Kings of Leon - Holy Roller Novocaine Plenty of Mastodon/ZZ-Top, Nada Surf and Pinback 7"s The store got just about every exclusive (minus City and Colour), and looking at the list only a few things were crossed off (out of stock).
