andrewlucas
Does anyone know how many copies were actually pressed? I see people with different amounts. 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000... I have no idea who to believe. It seems like there are alot of them around, so i would say maybe 3000.
travis
Doubt we'll ever know exactly but Id guess 3000-5000
sharkie
a lot, it is not a rare record at all.
andrewlucas
yeah, thats what i thought. based off the fact that i can find it at almost every online store and even in HT, I think I'll just say 5000. Haha. But anyways, I am now the proud owner of Diamond Eyes. HT on sale for $17, i got 10% off because of a barely dented corner. WooHoo! SaulManella
Sticker on it even said it was white. Not a big deal or anything but I think it's interesting.

mcpherson123
Weird. Looks awful but I just hate grey vinyl.
Vinyl Fury
Interesting. I do think the first press was 5000 and it wasn't around for a little bit but showed back up awhile after the box set was released. White does look way better with that label, if you're into that sort of thing.

I am just fine not having another white record, I just think this is odd and curious if I have something neat.
Vinyl Fury
I'm sure it does say white, because why Warner would go through the trouble of remaking a sticker when they can just use what they already have?
nelso330
this is one of those "limited edition white vinyl" bullshit marketing ploys .... Its not limited edition, its the standard press! (I think all were made on white, except this guys grey lol) But a classic vinyl lie! to get us to buy the record!
Derek™
Its not limited edition, its the standard press Unless infinite copies will continue to be pressed into the future - a concept that is physically impossible - it's limited. Your definition of Limited Edition may waver from others', but if the copies are finite they can quantized... and are indeed limited. chiefwahoo
mcpherson123
Yeah but I think the point he makes is that they are limited, sure. But only limited to how many they think they can sell.

SaulManella
Where did you purchase it from ? Amazon. It came in a sealed bag instead of shrink wrap and there was a UPC sticker over the original UPC if that means anything. psus2h and ghjghj
Gippej
Lol what the hell? That's pretty cool you got a wrong color pressing (I assume it is anyway, I've only seen the white)
psus2h
Did you get it off a market place seller or from Amazon directly? Yeah I like this color more. This is a great album too!
