searos Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 I really like this. I mean it sounds like a really memorable Alkaline Trio album which is fine with me. I honestly like his voice better from their later albums (I enjoy older albums as well and From Here To Infirmary is personal favorite). This album has good energy with poppy melodies and classic Matt Skiba lyrics. The energy is good and so is the flow. I honestly am glad I pre-ordered this cause I had a feeling this would be good and it looks like I was not wrong. I think travis said that the vinyl wouldn't be in stores until ~june edit: Matt Skiba & the Sekrets - Babylon LP on red vinyl limited to 666 copies will be exclusive to Hot Topic and should be out sometime in June. I've seen banquet have euro presses, but have also seen them say /100 when that just means they will have 100 copies not there were 100 pressed.
