astrangerwithcandy
I just kicked it up to a total of $25,000. I went with the Whiskey Crew option. kirtah777
kforkevin777
I dunno. They might. When I looked this afternoon, they were only at $10k, and now they're over $25k with like 28 days to go.
scottheisel
I've had this record for a few days now and I can safely say it's the best MBD record in a LONG time. I might even go so far as to say it's their all-time best record. ABSOLUTELY BLOWS AWAY Magpie. It is seriously really, really, really good. My fiancee texted me yesterday while I was at Warped Tour to tell me about the Kickstarter, and how she was going to cancel our wedding and instead spend $10,000 on going on the Bourbon Trail with MBD. She was only half-kidding.

BuzzersonKillwell
I think if my wife and I were in your situation we would absolutely find a way to have the wedding 10k cheaper. Or, 5k cheaper and have MBD play the wedding might work too.
EmoVeganBoy
How'd you get it already? Share it! If you clicked on his Facebook or Twitter link you'd probably figure out why pretty quickly lol. And I doubt the band would want him to leak it.
mrewest
I loved Good Morning Magpie (despite the weird muffled sound throughout) but Who Will Survive and In Bocca are my favs. If this album comes anywhere close to those I'll be thrilled. (especially since I'll have the test press!!!)
alexschelldorf
Thinking about the $75 option, but I have my reservations after GMM. I really really wanted to like it and was pretty disappointed. But the rest of their catalogue is primo.
xjustinxschwierx
$100K is a lot of fucking money for one album especially given that I would almost guarantee Bloodshot paid for the recording of said album.

I agree that the goal is a bit strange but every time I have dealt with this band they were stand up so it's whatever.

I'm sure a good amount of that money also goes to keep their other records in print since they control all their vinyl releases.

mrewest
I think people are also forgetting that some of those rewards are LIFETIME rewards. So the expenses from these packages could last a decade plus depending on the life of the band. Let's say 20 people did the lifetime release package. Any time they releases ANY merch in the future, they won't receive ANY extra funding from those 20 people. I'm curious to see if those will hold up over time. I'm also curious about this Whiskey Crew thing. I wonder what kind of perks you get! My wife said she's jealous I'll be a member so she literally may donate an extra $100 to be in too lol. theinkd
I opted for the $30 package, it's not too far from selling out
shifres
Wow, they're really going fast... Couldn't wait any longer and opted for the $40 package (which is $30 special vinyl for outside U.S Canada or Mexico). Now to hope they'll be able to raise the $56k... kforkevin777
I'm not sure the point in waiting, your card doesn't get charged until the project is funded either way. I'm really glad their fan base is so willing to put up this kinda money.

BuzzersonKillwell
I wonder how many total they pressed since everyone who commits to a higher pledge also gets the vinyl. 3000?
