MahPah
I snagged the minus the bear deluxe lp/cd for $10 yesterday! Down from $70, not too bad. Did they have another one?
Spektorologist
Did they have another one? I believe so, it was the UO in Pasadena if you're in the area. If not then maybe I can go back Sunday, I work all day the next 2 days.

Hairy Potter
found one of those in Chicago for $15 on NYE. Great deal/album. Also cool that it comes with a photo signed by the band.

I'm in San Francisco. The UO here didn't have one. If you happen to go back and they still have it that would be awesome if you could snag it for me. AndrewNstuff
Does anyone's Urban Outfitters have the Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die record? It was always there, but I always passed up on it, and I think it was priced around $25-30. I was gonna pick it up on Amazon, but they only have it for outrageous prices. I don't see it on the UO site either. If anyone comes across this record, would you mind doing me the huge favor of picking it up? I'll cover for the shipping.. I'll even send you a mailer to send it back in. Thanks guys.
futures
I snagged the minus the bear deluxe lp/cd for $10 yesterday! Down from $70, not too bad. Wow great prices. My copy of Halsey was wrecked and they wouldn't give me a refund bc I bought it thru a store and not the website. So I put in another preorder shortly after I received the damaged one and it shipped last week even tho the site says its not available until 6/22? I guess we'll see what happens this time. gaugzilla
UO online has a bunch of $5 vinyl (though some have sold out), including "Static Prevails": http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/category.jsp?id=SALE-MUSIC&cm_sp=SALE-_-L2-_-SALE:SALE-MUSIC#/
itsgoodtobefree
Do they still ship in clothing bags?
Fowty Dollaz
Well, the store will price match the site if you have one nearby. I picked up that 180 South OST for $5 last Friday that way.
itsgoodtobefree
Yeah, I'll probably just do that this weekend.
zerohacker
Got the Sarah Silverman album I ordered in the mail today. It was in a vinyl mailer inside of a bigger box, no issues at all.
PRINCE
Do they still ship in clothing bags? I received my Scott Pilgrim last week in a big pizza box-like box with the record just thrown in, no padding, remarkable the record was unscathed. Fowty Dollaz
I think it's hit or miss with shipping. I like to go in the store and make sure the records/sleeves look like they're in good shape, but I can do that as there is a UO right where I live. gaugzilla
Do they still ship in clothing bags? Last time, everything I had shipped in vinyl mailers in a giant box, so I think they're getting better at it. The time before, it was pretty shitty packaging. GoBlue325
Do they still ship in clothing bags? LOL...this is exactly why I no longer buy from there online. I have never seen such damage to a record before until I ordered stuff through them. Plastic clothing bags...WTF?
BrandonK
Thanks for this, Static Prevails for $5!? Steal! Man... Called beforehand to ask if they were honoring this sale in-store. The gal on the phone said yes, but by the time I got there, they had pulled it from their site... No dice for me; still wanted ~ $38 for it. Couldn't grab a cache of the page either. Bummer. Waste of a trip. Oh well.

Hairy Potter
I received my records from UO in a record mailer with bubble wrap which was also inside a larger box. It could just depend on the employee's mood who is fulfilling your order and if they feel like packaging it properly or not.

Yeah, mine was double boxed actually (6 records). 3 in each mailer, then a larger box. packed with bubble wrap.
