Sad Heart
Yeesh...I still hold true to the fact that Madvillain isn't even Doom's best outing. And I fucking haaaate Sublime and Panic at the Disco Panic isn't even music.

DarcX
At least no one has said Phish or Dave Matthews. Country is just one of those genres I cannot get behind. I think there's a Johnny Cash song or two I can dig.

DarcX
Neither of those bands are country. Phish isn't, obviously, but I thought Dave Matthews Band was? Idk. My only memory of them is hearing them at "Family Gras" against my will.

DarcX
Dave Matthews is generic college rock. Hm. I definitely heard a country band when I thought I was hearing Dave Matthews Band, then, and have avoided listening to them since. I guess I just thought it was them I was hearing 'cause they were like one of the top-billed musicians at the festival. Still sounds like I shouldn't listen to them, though. DecayToDeath
I like 40oz to Freedom for sure. Great record. I can't get behind Fever, but I can get behind Pretty Odd. Fever is just kinda simple pop punk, but Pretty Odd is a really creative and layered baroque pop record. I like exactly 16 Panic songs, and 15 of them are the entirety of Pretty Odd. The rest of their discog can fuck itself, though.
Guest
Really? Hank Williams is a huge name in old country. I guess I can see why someone younger has not heard of him.
abovetheearth
I'm waiting Charlie... I see you. its so hard as ive never really done top 10 lists. im going through the ol mental roledex and most are old. probably cliche to the younger lads but that was my time. im also trying to put nostalgia aside; which is hard. i cant put an album on there for one song that means the world. I had a rant about it in another thread, maybe the top albums of the year so far thread.

PO is an album I thought was boring until I got super into music. I have a new appreciation for it now, and beyond that, I love the hell out of it. Definitely a headphones album, too. Lots of different instruments make for an interesting stereo experience!

Yeah, weighing albums that have one of your favorite songs ever, but might not be one of your favorite albums by that particular band is fucking tough. Also, the only other song by Panic (for a grand total of 16) is "The Only Difference..." from Fever
KingTacoMunster
I'm curious how old you are.29 I. FUCKING. HATE. SUBLIME. Everyone who likes them are as garbage as Sublime's music. I'm pretty disappointed in that statement. As it makes me think less of you and you should go hold hands with Gumbo. Now I know you won't care because I'm just a random bloke on the internet. I will admit I'm not as big of a sublime fan as I once was and the main reason I included it on my list was due to sentimental value. But as subjective as music is, that was just a stupid comment.
