Guest
I'm working on mine right now. I got distracted cause I was revisiting Mark Lanegan's The Winding Sheet. Don't know if Brian has seen this conversation about top 10. I'm not sure if he is even here. I have headphones on and am blasting music. Haha. He was here for a second, and said he'll play your game. Black Sabbath - S/T Black Sabbath - Master of Reality Black Sabbath - Paranoid Sleep - Holy Mountain Saves the Day - Through Being Cool Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell Mount Eerie - 7 New Songs Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood Neil Young - Harvest The Sword - Gods of the Earth Now. If we can only choose one album per band... Black Sabbath - S/T Sleep - Holy Mountain Saves the Day - Through Being Cool Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell Mount Eerie - 7 New Songs Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood Neil Young - Harvest Pedro the Lion - Control The Sword - Gods of the Earth Weezer - Pinkerton I know if I thought about this more it might slightly change...but this is probably pretty close. Solid list John.
DarcX
I hope one day my all-time fav albums list contains a hip-hop album. I've recently become very fond of the genre and I feel bad for not having any hip hop releases in my list, but the ones I have I just love too much to not include them. I just feel inclined: Hip hop honorable mentions for Darc: CLPPNG - clipping. RTJ 2 - Run the Jewels Dark Comedy - Open Mike Eagle Shut Up, Dude / Sit Down, Man - Das Racist I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here - milo So The Flies Don't Come - milo

If it weren't for Death, Black Sabbath would def be on my list. I still need to listen to Saves the Day and Neko Case. I don't know how I've managed to not listen to them yet. DarcX
Wu-tang is actually on my influential list I'm still working on. The Das Racist mixtapes would be on mine. First mixtapes I listened to that made me realize hip hop wasn't a shit genre.

I'm surprised by The Sword, honestly. That album specifically...so good. I fucking love The Sword, but I'll never go see them live ever again. If it weren't for Death, Black Sabbath would def be on my list. I still need to listen to Saves the Day and Neko Case. I don't know how I've managed to not listen to them yet. Through Being Cool might actually be my favorite album of all time.

DarcX
Through Being Cool might actually be my favorite album of all time. Duly noted! The GIIA album on my list is pretty fragile, considering I actually haven't spun it in awhile... It would definitely be in influential because that album opened my world to post-rock and that means a lot to me. But... Maybe another album... Idk. Ugh! I'm torn. DarcX
Yuck. Pseudo-rasta, bullshit radio stoner rock. I mean, I enjoy it. It just seems very hard to 'hate' to me. Dislike, of course, but I can't imagine hating 40oz to freedom. Oh well. I wouldn't expect the average person on this board to like Unexpect, but an album of theirs is pretty secure on my list, so its whatevs.
DarcX
Anyone into post rock/post metal should definitely consider throwing on that Irepress album, Sol Eye Sea I. One of the most unique albums I've ever heard in that genre cluster.
