Dominic_
Dude all of us have been hearing PJ for longer than you've been alive. I guess maybe that's it. I only listen to No Code-Avacado much anymore anyway because I got burnt out on the radio stuff. To be fair, Rez, he's right. (And I like Pearl Jam.) GOOD. IT'S GOOD SHIT AND A CRIME THEY HAVEN'T RPd THE DISCOG
Sad Heart
Honestly, I'm pretty thankful I'm not a HUGE Pearl Jam fan cause their stuff gets so expensive.

I've been a PJ fan since day one...yes, way back in early 90's and joined 10C even back then...and I even know when to hold 'em and fold 'em as Kenny Rogers would say. Some of the more hardcore PJ fans are straight-up nuts!
TheGhostOfRandySavage
I don't like PJ, but...I'm also not a big grunge guy overall.
Dominic_
Broke my Yield bootleg out. All the other PJ boots I've heard sound like shit and even other copies of yield sounded like ass. This is my $15 PJ miracle. Seriously though, why the fuck do they keep it OOP?

Phil of Caspian is the biggest Pearl Jam fan I've ever met. We talked for like twenty minutes about PJ last time I saw him. I bet you guys would geek out over them and have an awesome conversation. Now I have Kenny Roger's stuck in my head. Haha.

I've had that pleasure with friends in bands and even fans I'm fan on already. Example: albeit very very brief, I was able to nerd over my obsession of NIN (all-time fave band) with Jeremy Bolm of Touche Amore. That was neat. We just chuckled at how nerdy we were. abovetheearth
Pretty sure I'm moving to Columbia, Missouri in the fall and I can't wait. I'm sick of winter, and sick of this crazy, conservative town (believe it or not but Columbia is more liberal than Co Springs) 2-3 hours from me. I have family there. Yeah, we geeked out over Nirvana together for a good while, too. It was a great experience. So humbling. Foo Fighters led to Nirvana which led to Pearl. Such a great night. Yah! So you know what I'm talking about. It's a feeling you can't really describe fully, or recreate. There is such something special about being able to talk about a band or artist you love with another band or artist you love.
abovetheearth
back in my day there was either a Nirvava side or a PJ side with us grungers. I liked them both. saw them both. worked at a venue and rubbed elbows with Vedder himself. they only had Ten out at the time. haven't washed my elbow since. I do remember back in the day...esp. thanks to MTV...when the whole Nirvana vs. PJ thing fight got started. All started cuz Kurdt said that PJ weren't worth shit and it all escalated from there... Pretty fuckin' silly looking back on it today.

Youinreverse
Jared sent me this today cause he is a fellow Graywhale loving bearded babe: (Graywhale is my favorite record shop ever.) He sent me a Pearl Jam CD cause they sound exactly like Foo Fighters. And you guys know I only listen to bands that sound like Foo. Now we have to schedule a day where we wear matching shirts. How about Tuesdays?
