I can't imagine how people from other countries find our american accents attractive. I sound like an American/Canadian hybrid middle aged mom.

truth. although I "allegedly" have the most "normal" accent out of anywhere in the states. I guess news anchors are trained to talk like people from the Ohio, Michigan, Illinois area.

Hey, it's almost Halloween.

looooove HalloWishes.

That's a dope pumpkin. I once had an art major roommate who was crazy good at pumpkin carving. He spent a week carving pornographic pumpkins to decorate the Halloween party we were throwing.

Thanks! I thought to myself that night, I should give sculpting a try! it was crazy fun. Haven't sculpted anything since.

Ok, I think I'm going to start a thread for a pumpkin carving contest when I get home tonight. I'll buy the winner a record of their choice. What would be the best way to judge it? I was thinking maybe judge based on the amount of upvoted a submission receives. Any opinions?

Wait. Michiganders have an accent? What do we sound like?

I'm originally up north Michigan and I've been told I sound Canadian. My bad, mad, sad pronounciation is fuckey too.

I was actually going to mention you but I was only half sure you're from here. I asked a friends mom and she said we draw out the pronunciation of our O's and A's.
