tonyfranciosa
According to Jonathan Barnbrook (art designer of the new album), vinyl is coming. This news already made my year. Can't wait.
billynomates
I heard that Music on Vinyl is doing a vinyl release for Reality this year....
tonyfranciosa
cools. would love Earthling too.
lexicondevil
The new song sounds pretty cool. With all of the brilliant work he has done, I don't even know what I want from Bowie at this point. I can't expect another Hunky Dory or Ziggy because you can't get much better than that. I will buy his new album, but as far as I'm concerned the man has a lot of leeway and can rest comfortably on his laurels.
idreamofpunk
I'll buy the new one. Would love to track down Earthling at a decent price. I would also like a million dollar lottery ticket and not get poisoned, but things like that don't seem to happen anymore, do they?
jipc
New record is available on vinyl... well at least in the UK - www.recordstore.co.uk
openupyourskull
This is streaming on iTunes now for those interested.
youspinmeround
The vinyl is going to be close to 40 bucks Might just buy the cd for
bobfrombob
Amazon Canada has it listed for $30. I heard the iTunes stream last night and after one listen, I thought it was a remarkable achievment. Maybe I will tire of it, or overreacted, but this sounds like an album of the year candidate.
bluedeni
It's really good, can't wait for the vinyl release.
openupyourskull
Went to Newbury Comics today and it turns out they were raffling off a test pressing of this and an uncut press sheet of sleeves for the RSD 7" single. Didn't win the test press but I did win the press sheet, which is pretty cool. They also said they'll be getting the regular 2LP next Tuesday, so there will be a (hopefully cheaper) US release for this.
throwgncpr
listened today on spotify. The album is really good. hope to snag this on vinyl
darkeyelids
This release honestly did not connect with me at all Obviously given his age this next statement is very apparent but, he just sounds really old. Just difficult to take in when you look at artists like Morrissey who's voice has only gotten better with age Oh well, the track 'If You Can See Me' stuck with me though

Hasn't that been around since Jesus? What is the reason for a $20 premium? vinyls?
Number11
http://www.paulsmith.co.uk/us-en/shop/new-online/paul-smith-for-david-bowie-the-next-day-red-vinyl-limited-edition.html nice limited edition I was ready to buy this until I saw the £6 shipping. £30 was already pushing it. lexicondevil
Q: Who the hell is Paul Smith? A: A brilliant, cutting edge artist who designs red vinylz.
deletedunknown
Someone "designed" the cover in the first place, so I guess it doesn't take much to earn that moniker.
openupyourskull
I honestly thought this was going to be more than $50 gauging from the prices of the t-shirts but still... yeesh.
gentlesenator
hell yeah i want a copy of my david bowie album to be signed by a clothing designer! wtf
gmoney
I ended up buying this when I woke up because it's $8.73 on Amazon. Usually $17-$25. You can't have too much Bowie on vinyl right? RIGHT?!
