drownmeinestrogen
Song's growing on me. Album will be bought at some point.I need Folie a Deux first.
sh0ez
Somewhat random, but for anyone interested in still snagging a copy of Folie, like the poster above, I did a little internet sleuthing and found that Interpunk still has copies. These seem to average $20-$40 on eBay otherwise, but might as well snag one from IP for $19.75 shipped. idreamofpunk
I'm stoked I got tickets through the Decibel Club in Columbus (Promowest Live's "fan club" equivalent) in the few seconds they were up on the list to select from.
atticus
$94 for 2 tix to the Atlanta show. So Punk Rock!!!! Fuck that. It's rather ironic to me that this is the "Save Rock and Roll Tour" when exorbitant ticket prices to shows are one of the main things killing rock and roll.
idreamofpunk
But they're still selling out the shows. Once people stop paying those kinds of prices to see bands, they'll stop charging that much to see them.
sharkticon
$94 for 2 tix to the Atlanta show. So Punk Rock!!!! Fuck that. It's rather ironic to me that this is the "Save Rock and Roll Tour" when exorbitant ticket prices to shows are one of the main things killing rock and roll. Various associated costs that ticket purchases cover: Venue rental, insurance, local crew (loaders, bar staff, maintenance, riggers, sound techs, lighting, hospitality), tour crew (tour manager, sound techs, instrument techs, lighting, merch, bus driver), gas, bus, promoter fee, advertising, web space/traffic, actually paying the band, and on and on. FOB will more than likely play 2 hours. Will more than likely have 3-4 openers. Effectively breaking each ticket down into $8-10 per hour of entertainment. Quit your bitching. idreamofpunk
God, I hope they don't have three to four openers. That Believers Never Die Tour was horrendous. Skipped the fuck out of that.
sharkticon
When have they NOT had a minimum of 3 openers though? Ill just show up to see them unless someone really, really good is opening. /feeling old
billya
I feel like the openers for this will be similar bands, just like blink did. I am intrigued.
seamoney
I'm guessing Panic at the Disco will play direct support. I also have hope that one is a band like Fireworks or Transit. But we'll probably just get Cobra Starship or something equally bad. FOB has a horrible track record with openers.
