PC Music
That's not a very good album title. I won't pre-order but I might end up picking it up sooner or later if it's good.
A_Boring_Story
Yeah, I don't think the title is very good. And I don't like that they put it on the cover... But I'm glad they announced a tour today along with this! Can't wait to grab some tickets this Wednesday. It's been too long since they've come around here. backpackoat
That album art is so killer.
firefoxUSSR
They should offer a trilogy package. I like the first two albums, even saw them a couple years ago.
Green Tea Papi
The cover art doesn't feel very vampire weekend like take the name off and add some colour and I'd feel the cover art.
Aych
I'm really hoping the title is just a sticker on the outside packaging, and that the cover is just the picture with the VW logo on it. Regardless, the white vinyl should match the cover perfectly. I'll probably pick it up at my local shop in May.
stillalivetui
This would be a beautiful album cover if it wasn't for the ugly title on the upper right.
jerseydave77
Bumping this up since I just deleted the new stray thread. A tidy board...blah...blah...blah.
hipsterasfolk
I agree with everything mentioned. Album art = rad title = lame Purchase = When it pops up at the local shop I very rarely buy Indie records online because I know they will reach local record shops on the release date Poop punx n' hxc however do not :/
FactoryRecords
Pre-ordered for the white vinyl. I figure it's going to be at least a decent album. & I agree with everyone else on the type setting for the album name being heinous. Definitely need to fire whoever came up with that idea. Green Tea Papi
you were 5. Doesn't change the fact I like their older music much more. coryemis
Guest
That was a dark time for Modest Mouse. It was darker when Johnny Marr was a member. Green Tea Papi
FactoryRecords
Lol. I saw them live at the Tabernacle in ATL back in 2009, and fortunately Johnny Marr decided he was unable to make an appearance. That was probably the most over-crowded show I have ever been to, not to mention the obnoxious people that were trying to start a mosh pit
gud
But i think the best part about the PO from Vampire Weekend: it's only $14! that's a reasonably priced vinyl record- what a strange concept!

If I remember right, Rostam (the keyboardist/producer/co-songwriter) does all of the artwork/graphic design for their releases. It'd be kind of awkward to fire the guy who basically does everything. untiliwakeup
...so everyones really flipping out about the album title font on the cover of the album??

FactoryRecords
The leading on it is horrible. You might get away with putting a sans serif that close together, but with a script typeface like that it's just stupid.
