Bub 85
Hey everybody! I'm new on here. I just bought Mighty Mighty Bosstones "Lets Face It" on red vinyl. Does anyone know how many of these were pressed?
chiefwahoo
Welcome. I don't know how many were pressed but I know it was tough to find even when it first came out. Can I ask what you paid for it?
derby625
That's a good question. Pressing info from the 90's is hard to come by
derby625
I'm assuming you have the BIg Rig pressing that doesn't have a catalog number. If you do find out, I'll update it on discogs (Ps if you don't know discogs.com, it has lots of pressing info and has more than dead format)
Bub 85
Cheif, I paid $100 for it. I know it's kind of crazy, but I'm going to make that my big buy for the next couple of months as far as vinyl. Thanks for the heads up on discogs Derby! saxonviolons
Wow $100. According to Popsike it looks like you got a deal so good for you. Love the Bosstones.
derby625
I picked this thing up like 10 years ago for $25ish. I'm guessing that the pressing is small as it doesn't pop up to often and is the only known pressing of the album Discogs is awesome. Bub 85
Discogs is pretty awesome! I'm using it for the first time right now and trying to look up this Tool Aenima record I bought last month. Where does it list the amount pressed usually? derby625
If available it would be in the "release notes" A lot of albums are unknown though
ronniegwilliams
Great purchase! That's always been one of my favorites from around that time. I will say I was super let down by this thread though, I was really hoping there was going to information regarding a repress in here. rudeboydh and koljou

The longer you are into records, the longer the words "make that my big buy for the next couple of months" gets shorter each time. Months, turns into month, than weeks, than week, than days. Haha. Pretty soon, dropping $300 over a weekend doesn't seem like enough Welcome.
