derrickcook19941
Ok so this thread may be dumb but it's a discussion board so whatever. Anything I've bought from music on vinyl and I mean anything has just been kicking so much ass. Every record I have from them just sounds amazing, why can't every pressing be cut as high quality as they do it? Does anyone else know the feeling? Like when I order from them I get super stoked because I know that the pressings gonna sound amazing and it delivers every time. GradedOnACurve
Interesting thread but thanks Derrick for the link to the Evil Empire LP on yellow. Bad impulse purchase made good when I got the LP.

Bad impulse purchase made good when I got the LP. I love how every one from them sounds. Just got my dirt red copy of dirt by Alice In chains and it's rad. What number did you get of evil empire? derrickcook19941
Like the reason I made this thread was just their quality just takes a shit on all the other reissue labels. Like they absolutely rape the competition.

derby625
Into the Wild soundtrack sounds pretty amazing. That was my first MoV release. Their stuff is always top-notch and they do a lot of great reissues (Primus, Toadies, Live, etc) Soundstage direct is a great place to buy them too
derrickcook19941
Anyone know where they get their mastering and/or manufacturing done? The product itself is always damn perfect
moodydan
Everything I've ordered from them has been great. A little pricy at times, but I don't hesitate anymore when it's coming from them; I know it's going to be worth every penny on the price tag! DawgPound1946
Into the Wild soundtrack sounds pretty amazing. Yeah that album sounds really good. There was a YouTube review where someone had the original TenClub version and the MoV version. The packaging was better on the MoV, the book was larger, and was of better quality. Also the guy claimed it also sounded better than the original. Just got the AIC and Nirvana Unplugged albums, and they both sound amazing. Kind of expensive, but worth it; if it's something you really want.
Guest
you should really edit your post so that it suggests that "music on vinyl" is a specific thing you're talking about. and not just music that plays on records.
timsimmons
It's been hit or miss for me. Some sound like shit (Better Living Through Chemistry, Everything Must Go) and some sound great (His n Hers). They source from CDs when they can't get masters, so it probably depends on their source. timsimmons
I also find it interesting that a majority of their releases are Sony titles. I wonder if Sony is Hum-ming more bands with MOV.
andi
I hope they'll do PJ's - Benaroya Hall in the future. That would be AWESOME!
kk-downing
Their jackets suck and the records are pricey, that said they do sound really good. They will always be on my good side for reissuing Primus' Brown Album.
