David The Gnome
I'll post when I'm at the show if anyone wants to meet up. I'll just be with one other friend. The more the merrier. I also just realized I haven't seen these guys in 11 years
dkrtz
I'm gonna sob. Tickets for presale for my city went on sale half am hour ago, I snagged two, went to check out..... realized ticket master doesn't take PayPal. Devastating. Will these be available in three or four days if I transfer to bank you think??

I'd probably venture to say no but you could always try to snag some when they release the tickets non-presale
dkrtz
Hope I'm able to. These are notorious for selling out aren? The venue I'm seeing them at sold out Neutral Milk Hotel out in thirty minutes twice but when I saw Mogwai the room was surprisinly sparse. So I'm wondering which end of the spectrum brand mnew will end up in
Guest
If the last week of twitter is any indication, all you have to do is wait before the day of the show when thousands upon thousands of people are desperate to sell.
sspeck
Anyone know if they have a tour posters with them? Seeing them in Columbus tomorrow, seeing what kind of funds I should bring.
batman
looks like the Houston show already sold out general tickets as well. holy hell.

danionly
When I saw them at Boston Calling they only had a few random shirts. I guess they just put up some new merch (http://brandnew.merchdirect.com/) today. The animal shirts are pretty nice but those 'Electricity is Dangerous' shirts are just weird. 3arl
as someone who sells electrical distribution equipment, i can guarantee that electricity is dangerous
Rip
They were really good. Really good. I'm with ya there. This was the first time I've seen then since 2009, right around when Daisy came out I believe, and they were just as good if not better than I remember. Also, I hope a lot of people got turned onto Man Man after tonight. They put on a hell of a show (as expected) and they deserve more recognition than they get. NoWorthyIcons
Also, I guess we shouldn't expect Brand New to last longer than 2018, if Jesse keeps his promise. He told us that he turned 36 and that he thought he could promise that he wouldn't be doing it when he's 41. Seemed like a joke, but I guess you never know... My friend and I were talking about how he was probably saying that just to fuck with people. Like, we feel he knows by now that anything they say or do will get a crazy reaction no matter what. We also said how we expected there to be a big "freak-out" thing on AbsolutePunk about it lol.

Yeah, if I was a betting man I'd put my money on them sticking around a little longer than that. But now that I got to see them and since they seem to be putting out a new album soonish, I think I'm okay, either way.
