seanmegamitensei
i always thought hella's "osaka" was an awesome closer for their album "tripper".particularly the way the song ends. the riff/drum work/fade out is perfect.

And totally agree with BtS, Sunn, Silver Jews and Mogwai. Every Built to Spill album so far has an amazing last song. Well every song is amazing. Doug Martsch can do no wrong in my eyes. The weird thing about Slint and Built to Spill is that even though Spiderland and Keep It Like A Secret are two of my all time favourite albums I've never listened to any of their other stuff... Oh crap dude, Perfect From Now On by Built to Spill is the greatest album ever recorded (flame on, suckas. I'll stand by it) imo. And Tweez by Slint is pretty damn good too. But Perfect From Now On is just fucking brilliant. It is quite a bit different than Keep It Like A Secret though. Sorry if your expectations are too high if you listen to it. I just love Doug Martsch's music. Greystash

jetsfan4ever80
Yes. Did a Crimson album ever end with a less than perfect song? Anything pre-Discipline and I'd agree 100%. I'm not a fan of anything post-Discipline though - wayyy too 80s sounding for my taste.
