rebelboywonder
This could be cool, I loved Fight Club, but I feel like Mr. Palhniuk's writing has become a tad predictable as of late. Hopefully this will get him back on track!
turbobrando
Haven't paid attention to what he's done since Diary. Is anything after that any good?
henster311
Haven't paid attention to what he's done since Diary. Is anything after that any good? Haunted and Snuff were really good. Pygmy was a little hard for me, so was Tell-All. Damned, I liked. the new Invisible Monsters Remix thing i havent read yet and his new one Doomed
museummouth
I'm kinda iffy about this. Fight Club should just be left as it is IMO. Now a sequel sort of thing to Haunted would be cool. I still need to read Damned. Tell-All was a bummer though, and Snuff was just okay.
bgdesign
Rant is good also. chefchino
3arl
Lullaby, Rant, and Haunted are all awesome. I'm definitely intrigued by this.

henster311
lullaby was my favorite i think. snuff was such a fast read for me, never read a book that fast. part of me too thinks fight club should stay, but im kinda excited that its gonna be a graphic novel..i dunno. like they're married? they have a kid? its just something i didnt see coming so its interesting. you wonder how much different if would be if he started this right from them holding hands as the building collapsed...if that were to be better. museummouth
Rant is good also. I forgot how good Rant was. Need to reread that. Wasn't it supposed to be a trilogy?

museummouth
I thought the open ending to Fight Club was great. Now it's ruined.
Rip
I forgot how good Rant was. Need to reread that. Wasn't it supposed to be a trilogy? Currently a few chapters into this right now and I'm loving it. It's one of the few Palahniuk books I still need to read.

3arl
I think the problem with a lot of his books is that the setup (aka the first 90%) of them is so good that the ending just can't live up.
chefchino
He's going to revisit it. I think it was.Originaly he was suppose to write it after snuff... Then after Pygmy... Now it's just lost to whenever he feels like it.

ronniegwilliams
I admit, his writing got me really into reading, but as I read more I feel like my palette matured. I equate it to listening to Green Day, only to have them introduce you to The Clash. His work is pretty predictably generic to me, but I would still like to know what happened to the Fight Club ensemble after the camera stopped rolling and the pages ended. radiatorhums
I've read all of this novels and Rant was the last one that I thought was good. My expectations for this are pretty low.
mcm1610
I was reading all of his books for a while, and I even own a couple I never read. After reading "Pygmy" I gave up. What the fuck was that? But Rant was great. Invisible Monsters and Lullaby were very good. I just think I either tired of his style, got weirded out by many of the books perverted traits, or grew up in my reading. I'm thinking it's mostly the last one, as I've been reading a lot of old classic novels lately.
jlobban
i usually cant get into his stuff, but i liked Rant. my wife is a HUGE Chuck fan. i wonder if she knows about this graphic novel
hippielauryn
I used to love Palahniuk and his books. Rant is definitely my favorite of all that I have read. I tried to make it through Pygmy but only made it halfway before I gave up. I also tried to read Tell All, but there were just too many names of people and I got lost too many times to count. I couldn't get through it. Just recently found out about Damned and the Invisible Monsters Remix. Now a graphic novel? This guy never gives up. Hopefully his newest stuff is reminiscent of the way he used to write. Maybe that's why he is going back through older material. He needs to regain the attention of people who read his stuff in the beginning.
mike
Or that his works are written for preteens. this. i've read a couple of his books and the whole time felt like i was reading something by a 14-year-old trying his hardest to be shocking. it's just all felt really juvenile to me, in subject matter and quality of writing.
