i actually didn't see it and then went back to the Fs for something else and noticed it and was like "fucking awesome"

I don't know if I just got to the store around here participating too late, but their selection was quite a bit slimmer than usual. I'm thinking maybe more people were buying stuff today than usual.

Anyway, I got:

Vampire Weekend exclusive 7"

Black Keys - Attack and Release

By the time I got off work and made it to the closest participating store, they were out of all the 7"s except a couple shitty ones I didn't care about, so all I got was:

The Raconteurs - Consolers of the Lonely (on sale for $22.99!)

But the girl at the register did give me a Record Store Day 2008 12" comp with Pearl Jam, RATM, Lou Reed, and some others.

I went to two records stores, one that wasn't participating but has good stuff and one that was and is just ok.

From the first one I got:

Fucked Up - Year Of The Pig 12"

Modern Life Is War - Midnight In America

Ramones - End Of The Century

Then at the next one I bought:

REM - Supernatural Superserious 7"

Built To Spill - Don't Try/ The Source 7"

Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Posses Your Heart 7"

I went to check these out and was then handed a stack of free 7"s! Some of which are awesome. Some, I for sure will be trading. Out of this, I got:

The Hives - Tick Tick Boom

Foo Fighters - The Pretender

The Killers - Tranquilize/Shadow Play

Bob Dylan and Mark Ronson - Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine)

Against Me! - Thrash Unreal

Kaki King - Pull Me Out Alive

Rilo Kiley - The Moneymaker

Silverstein - If You Could See Into My Soul (Etched B-side)

Dr. Dog - The Girl/Heart It Races

Destroyer and Wye Oak - Madame Butterflies/Prodigy
