billya
^ Very nice. I want a room like that when I get my own place.

whenicomearound
Very nice room. Just be careful with the records leaning like that. It could cause warping over time.
justin8821
Really? Thanks When I come around I'll be sure to fit some mailers in there as I get them so everything stands upright
somethingvinyl
Yeah, don't leave them like that for 5 years.

And a futon across the room where I sit and listen to music/jam I was just about to pose this question, as I'm getting an expedit soon haven't seen it done thus far. Where did you get the feet? I'm going to want to raise mine a bit so it's just easier access.
justin8821
Sfish- I got them at Ikea. They weren't much and I think they make a big difference my fiance talked me into getting them she says "it makes it look like a real piece of furniture" or something along those lines. I'd like to do the Led lights but I'm not that crafty. Ikea also sells these neat cd/dvd towers that mount to the wall I have them at my parents house but I haven't put them up yet in our new condo. Sugar Shane
^A tutorial on how to install them. I hope they don't create too much of a hum for your turntable and guitars. Probably would be best to start small and see if/how it affects the noise in your room.

dnsnlsn
My rather small but growing collection: clean set had the same setup and then I changed the pre-amp to a parasound zphono. HUGE improvement. ruben
Sugar Shane
My rather small but growing collection: I like the spacers being cans haha. That's one way of preventing leans. ruben
minor incident
Mine's pretty simple. Half of a 2x4 Expedit. Some books as spacers.
castaway
Got two sets of speakers, the Harman/Kardon ones are plugged into my TV, and then I stream music from my Macbook to Apple TV and it plays through those speakers. Then some Sony speakers next to them are connected to the Sherwood receiver (which probably doesn't have enough cooling space on the top but I couldn't resist putting it there cause it fits so perfectly). And then I'm rockin' a low budget LP60. Cool.
minor incident
Hah, it's crazy how perfect the fit is for that receiver. But yeah, I'd be nervous about it not getting enough air, too.
konk
My rather small but growing collection: What inserts are those for the CDs?
minor incident
IKEA sells them, you just slide them into an Expedit cubby to create 4 smaller squares for CDs. I can't find it on the IKEA site right now, so I don't know if they're discontinued or what. Here's an image from google, though: konk
konk
Yeah those were discontinued. I saw those when I was trying to find out what they were last night. I thought the ones posted were just crosses. Now I see where the bottom row is different heights.

castaway
What is this? It's from Ikea, not exactly sure what it's called. We just bought a bunch of furniture all at once when my brother and I moved in and this was originally in our living room until I stole it for my setup. konk

And I need more of those, but they don't sell them anymore and they said instore that they won't produce them anymore... stupid! konk
