Just got a demo pair of CM8R's from my local audio shop and a Denon DP300-F.  My receiver is pretty budget so I brought it in to test the MMF 5.1 vs the DP300-F.  Honestly couldn't hear the difference and even my sales rep said it wasn't worth spending the extra on the music hall until I went for a better receiver.  Think the set up sounds fucking awesome from where I was at.

You may have made a good case 5 or so years ago, but more of their new signings have been Orgcore than crabcore. If anything they're gravitating back toward the "Epitaph sound".

Band sells 500+ copies of a 5 song (1 new song) 10" for $12 in a few hours. The hype is strong, and a bunch of kids are stoked to own a 10", but they still aren't sure how it will play on their Crosley. "Where's the 10" button?"

How much money do you really think he is going to make off of this release?  The online product can only gross $12,500 (unlike other LPs he has released have sold out almost instantly - this did not).  Do you have an idea what the manufacturing costs would be for something like this?  Then shipping?  The cost of 500 mailers / tape / etc.
 
Also I don't think them signing to a major label for their fault, I think them releasing a dog shit second record was.

Your right - you probably don't have the slightest idea what the mark up is.  HYPOTHETICALLY speaking if ETR is to net $5,000 dollars off of this release (my guess would be less) what do you think that breaks down by hour?  A project over a year in the works.. Also assuming this is a one or two man operations and they have homies helping pack / ship / etc.  Wouldn't call this a money grab or even close to it.  Done arguing with you about this, like I mentioned before you don't have a clue.
