  6. I reached out to Revolver and they apologized and said my /100 exclusive didn't ship in a timely manner. It's in the mail now. I'm really excited to see it. So if anyone reading this didn't have their /100 ship, send them an email.
  7. You know how I said I feel like people did not read Topshelf's entire statement... Well... I don't want to call you out but they're literally dealing with their own problems and they have funds set aside for an emergency because they have successfully been around that long. You might want to tone down your ignorance and take the time to read the links before commenting because you missed the mark with everything you've said.
  8. I can't remember when the second press was scheduled for completion but they're going to do their best to reroute shipments to a new location upon completion. Hang in there, it's worth the wait.
  9. I'd have to look into each individual release but during the recession of 2008-[whenever you consider it ended] it's my understanding Tooth & Nail/Solid State sold the rights to many of their releases. That was a big factor in why the Underoath represses took so long when the demand was there for years. I would assume this could be related to not pressing more.
  10. I feel like a lot of people did not read Topshelf's entire statement. I know it's long but it's all worth reading. "so how’re we gonna fund this? alright, you read this sob story. you know how money works. this is gonna cost money." https://www.topshelfrecords.com/#help It's broken down into 8 sections of why they need money. There's an option to receive physical media in return for your donation for those that don't want to give with nothing in return. "we had been handling our own mail order and warehousing our own records since our start in 2006—doing it all ourselves—moving from dorm rooms, to parents’ garages, to extra space at a larger label’s warehouse, and eventually, to our own dedicated space we leased when we moved the label to San Diego in 2015. In 2018 though, the building we were in was sold. the new management stopped renewing existing leases and then re-set everyone’s rent at a 36% increase (apparently legal!). Unable to find a suitable location at a price we could afford, we made the difficult decision to outsource our mail order operation to a fulfillment partner: Awesome Distro. back then, it cost us $13k just to ship everything to Awesome's new Austin, TX-based warehouse where we were to be their first US client. at the time this was a pretty big expense for us that we struggled to pay while continuing operations as normal." "so when we made the decision to move our mail order operation out of our own control over to a third party half the country away, that weighed heavily on us. it felt like removing a part of the self in a way i can’t explain. we knew it had to be done, but the savings and perceived efficiencies came with a heavy dose of malaise around this tangible loss of identity and sovereignty." I don't think they got their inventory moved in time. They knew Awesome Merch was going downhill.
  11. They have Death Spells but not the new one. They also have a nice hoodie and tees. Personally I think you should go. I have a feeling they will be retiring a lot Death Spells after this tour until they do another headliner. They're playing 5 songs off it including my favorite Yawning. Same honestly. I've seen Grivo and they're really good live but I still haven't gotten a chance to see Som.
  12. 13. The album is incredible as expected. I got to see them in Philly last night and it was a treat. If you haven't seen them yet, make sure you can the next chance you get.
  14. No word on when the Revolver edition ships but when I talked to Daniel in Philly he said it looks great and Revolver sent pics. Since it isn't on Discogs I assume they're still working on them. It's minor but @danmpie7could you fix your typo in the thread title please?
  15. The new songs are awesome. I love how much this band is like Superheaven. When I saw them this summer I noticed even their stage presence was similar to Superheaven. It's also cool how much different of an experience they are live. The recordings are great, but I'd say they're 5 times better live.
  16. Wanna pay $11 or $13 before shipping for a 7"? Yeah, me neither. Coke Bottle Clear /300 https://shop.brooklynvegan.com/products/tigers-jaw-old-clothes-7-limited-edition-only-300-made-coke-bottle-clear-7-vinyl Blue & Neon Magenta /1000 https://hopelessrecords.myshopify.com/products/tj00oc00bn-lp Street date is October 26, 2022.
  17. +1 for me. I'm glad it shipped. Estimated delivery is Monday for me since it shipped via UPS.
  18. Say it louder. This is how I feel about so many label releases that are underpressed and ignored.
  19. Kyle's dad had MS. The lack long after is about his death if I remember right. It could be influenced by that.

  22. https://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/730167-knifeplay-animal-drowning "Animal Drowning" by Knifeplay out October 19th. Really good stuff but here's the nightmare: vinyl doesn't ship until October 2023.
