N8TRU reacted to dantheriver in PO: The Wonder Years - Burst & Decay (Acoustic EP)
Glad they've partnered with a (primarily) clothing company for the distribution side of their new record label. No media mail option is no good.

N8TRU reacted to MyckelJay in PO: The Wonder Years - Burst & Decay (Acoustic EP)
I think a lot of people just aren't too interested in an acoustic release from these guys. I understand. I'd rather see an EP with full-band versions of songs that are originally acoustic rather than acoustic renditions of originals.

TWY and Four Year Strong are two bands I didn't really need acoustic stuff from.

N8TRU reacted to parkinglot in PO: Sleeping With Sirens - Gossip
I used to be part of the "let people listen to whatever they want and don't pop into threads just to shit on people's musical taste", but this is really shitty music and I thought only 15 year olds dug this stuff. What makes this even worse is that people have to actively seek it out. It's not like it's a pop star being shoved in your face 24/7.

N8TRU reacted to Derek™ in PO: Sleeping With Sirens - Gossip
Yeah, I mean, that's good for the band I guess. Great, even. But I dont think "success" has any real place in this scenario; it's quite possible to write bad, shallow music and still get it on the radio. Would you agree or disagree? Just imagine a world where the general population didn't have shit tastes.

Now that is actually pretty fucking embarrassing.

N8TRU got a reaction from IanRees in PO: Seaway - Vacation
You'd think as the band members in pop-punk bands get older that would change and the music would mature but I guess not.

N8TRU reacted to vinyl addict in Best/Worst Customer Service from a Distro/Label?
Ordering from MerchNow will be a mistake.

N8TRU reacted to mcpherson123 in Taking Back Sunday- Self Titled, louder now and new again
What you're saying may be true and accurate. It still doesn't excuse a label from doing it themselves. The label should not be the same caliber as the uninformed factions of they're audience. For shame (on label). If its the band, they probably can't afford a decent table anyway because they are a band.

love how they use a crosley to "test" it. blows my mind that bands and labels do this on social media tbh

N8TRU got a reaction from s_r0d in Pvris - All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell (8/4)
Considering Rise did 9 variants for At The Drive In and the deluxe of White Noise had 5 variants with the most limited available through Newbury Comics, I'm going to wait to preorder. Maybe something cool will go up soon.

Thanks! Kevin and I have been fans of these bands plus more for a long time so it's always exciting when we get to work with a group of super talented people like this.

N8TRU got a reaction from maintreqd in Anakin "Random Accessed Memory" LP via Kickstarter
I've been a NSR subscriber since 2014. Basically the 2016 subscription couldn't work out. We only got Shai Hulud on vinyl. Eventually we're getting a free shirt, we have 25% off until the end of the year, digital on release day for every release (which has included Alistair Hennessy, Julia Louise and In Between), and I get the most limited variant of every record for 2016 (that would be only Spill's Top Ten) through the end of 2017 (We're getting WSTR and all the others to come). There will be new records from Julia Louise, my favorite band Daisyhead, Drug Church, Koji, Aficionado, Aviator, Looming, State Faults and whoever else. It's still going to be worth what I paid on Black Friday 2015 so I can't complain!

N8TRU got a reaction from rawker31 in PO: Night Riots - Love Gloom
I also emailed asking for Media Mail. Killer Merch designed the new site and shipping has always been cheaper for records from Killer Merch. I just got PIII in the mail and they gave me a discount code and an invitation to the new store and you can't use a discount code on the new store so I'm thinking they've just got some features to work out. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I love Night Riots and I'm really excited for this record and I also want to order the new AAL from them.
