Sunn O))) - Black One (Repress)

Ah damn, I was (foolishly) hoping Candlewvlff would last until I get paid in the morning. -

Yeah, he's still on Shameless. He popped up on an episode of New Girl too, that threw me off. -
The Dismemberment Plan - Uncanny Valley (10/15)

I'd say power through it at least once, there are a couple decent songs on there. Unfortunately, they're mostly surrounded by ones that aren't. -

For a second I thought you meant they had White1 on vinyl and freaked out! They have the Grimmrobe Demo 3xLP picture discs and the Candlewvlff ov thee Golden Chalice LP in the vinyl section as well. Both are spendy, but more reasonable than on the second hand market. I already have the 2xLP Grimmrobe demo and don't care for picture discs, but I do want that Candlewvlff. -
PO: Pelican - Forever Becoming
radiatorhums replied to nyhi's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Got mine in the mail today. Everything about it is well done. The packaging is nice and heavy duty and the vinyl looks and sounds great. I think this might be my favorite Pelican album since Fire in Our Throats. Also, Southern Lord knows how to ship an LP. I'd gladly pay a little extra for shipping if more labels used corner protectors. -
Completely forgot about Low's Christmas, that release is incredible. I've been doing Christmas wrong for a couple years now.

This is the only Christmas album I need : http://www.discogs.com/Vandals-Christmas-With-The-Vandals/master/391683

I'm going to be there in 8 days, I'm absolutely going to check out this food truck! Thanks for mentioning it, I didn't even think about looking for vegan baked goods when I was scoping out places to eat.

SONS OF ANARCHY Season 6 Thread **Spoilers**
radiatorhums replied to jhulud's topic in Everything Else Message Board
Funny, I thought last night's episode was really boring overall. I felt like it was 95% filler and 5% story. I also thought that the Irish expedition in season three was terrible, so we might just like different things from the show. I will agree that Bobby is great and I'm happy to have him back. -
I think the only part of the episode I really liked was the zombies falling through the ceiling of the store. It was great in a bad horror movie sort of way. The rest of it didn't do much for me, but I think the show ranges from slightly above average to bad most of the time anyway.

I agree. Eddie was one of my favorite characters. I'm glad he made it as long as he did though.

The Dismemberment Plan - Uncanny Valley (10/15)
radiatorhums replied to casey's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I like the more spastic Dismemberment Plan and was hoping for more of that. I need to give it a few more listens before I have a real firm opinion on it. I saw them when they toured two or three years ago, it was excellent. I'd absolutely go see them again. -

The Dismemberment Plan - Uncanny Valley (10/15)
radiatorhums replied to casey's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I've listened to this a couple times now, not entirely sure what to make of it. It's much more subdued than I was expecting. Lookin' is easily the stand out track for me. -
I posted a thread earlier about record stores down there, might help you a bit. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/94352-austin-record-store-recommendations/ My brother lives down there and he talks about the food constantly, I'm planning on eating constantly while I'm down there.

Watched that a few days ago, it cracked me up. Archer has yet to disappoint me.

I think something like that is inevitable, no matter who you are. It comes with getting older. I'm in my early thirties and a lot of my close friends are starting to getting married, having children, buying houses in the suburbs and all that jazz. I don't see them as frequently because of that. It's frustrating at times, but all I can do is wish the best for them. They're just at different points in their life than I am and I can't hold it against them. That being said, it is a bummer that I can't see those people as regularly as I want.

God damn, that looks fantastic. Constellation's packing is in it's own league.
