I just felt like they wrote themselves into a corner and the marshal coming in was a little too convenient for me. That and him not recognizing Saxon was a little absurd. Agreed, I was happy to see him pop up on the show though. Him and Ronny were my favorite people on The Shield.

The marshal finding Saxon and unleashing him was so bad that I started laughing. Also, is the actor that plays Saxon essentially the poor man's Ryan Gosling?

Watched Bad Milo last night it was amusing. I don't think I'd watch it again, but I wouldn't object if someone suggested it. I feel like Gillian Jacobs was a bit under used in it too. I also watched This is the End and I thought it was pretty damn funny. It fizzled a bit after an hour, but I enjoyed it overall. I'm normally pretty hit or miss when it comes to the main cast, but I thought this one was pretty damn funny. Michael Cera and Danny McBride were fucking hilarious in it.

He was fantastic in Hell Baby, easily my favorite character in that. Kumail Naniani as the cable guy was pretty damn funny too. I'm probably going to make tonight a movie, beer and pizza night. Should be the perfect evening for Bad Milo.

I enjoyed it for the most part. I think the idea was better than the implementation, but it was a fun watch. Nazi occult stuff is always entertaining to me, the more ridiculous the better. I'm a little sick of 'found footage' films, that's my biggest knock against it. I plan on watching Bad Milo in the next couple days, Ken Marino can do no wrong in my book.

Mine should be here tomorrow, pretty excited for it. I don't actually know if I've ever listened to the EP, pretty sure I never strayed from Shape of Punk and Songs to Fan the Flames.

I'll be ordering all three from somewhere, hopefully Amazon or Sumerian.

I'll give this a listen in the next couple days. It looks like something I'll like, so I'll end up backing it if I do.

Choices were a little all over the place last week, I watched Hell Baby, Frankenstein's Army, Oblivion and The Bling Ring. Just finished the last season of The Shield too.

I don't think compilations count unless there is a track exclusive to that release (or if you're insanely thorough). I feel the same way about 7"s that have no exclusive tracks, I only pick them up if I do it on the cheap. Personally, I consider my collection complete when I have one of every release by the band. I can understand the appeal of variant collecting, but it's not for me (I'd much spend my money on 3 different albums than three colors of the same album).

I think I can agree with this statement. Although I've only just liked everything since The Fragile, so my bar for NIN albums is lower than it used to be. I prefer the guitar heavy Nine Inch Nails that was more prominent on The Fragile and earlier and Hesitation Marks seems to be more synth focused. I enjoy the album, it's just not their output I gravitate towards.

If anyone picks this up and wants to part with Around the Fur, let me know. It's the only one I haven't gotten around to picking up.

Well put. I consider $4.00 the minimum I'm going to pay for shipping in the US and that price point seems to be less common too. I don't know how someone can bitch about paying $4.60 for shipping for a single LP, it's asinine.
