  1. Wow, the deluxe looks really slick. I completely missed out. I need to order the regular LP to keep my cassette company.
  2. I'll end up grabbing these from Amazon since the prices are comparable, put that Prime membership to use!
  3. That's funny, My Body is a Cage is the only track on that album I don't like. I haven't listened to it in probably 5 or 6 years though, so I might like it if I revisit it.
  4. I've been trying to track it down for a while with no avail. Seems to be an elusive bugger.
  5. New song is pretty neutral for me. I don't dislike it, but I doubt I'll listen to it again outside of the confines of the album.
  6. I sold a lot of my DVDs and CDs through Amazon. I don't know how the fees exactly stack up compared to eBay, but they're fairly comparable I think. Listing stuff is really quick, which is nice. The downsides are that Amazon will send you constant shipping reminders if you don't ship the item within 2 days (I think) and they pay you once a month, so if you're strapped for cash it isn't the best option.
  7. Chuck Klosterman wrote a short essay on the subject, essentially saying the same thing. http://www.esquire.com/features/chuck-klostermans-america/ESQ1104-NOV_AMERICA
  8. Looks like they signed to Sumerian Records : http://www.theprp.com/2013/09/03/news/crosses-%E2%80%A0%E2%80%A0%E2%80%A0-sign-with-sumerian-records-chino-moreno-speaks-of-new-project/ I think the new EP getting a vinyl pressing is much more likely now.
  9. I liked Treats quite a bit and didn't mind Reign of Terror. It mainly sounded like more of the same to me though. I'm interested in the new album, but I can't say I'm excited about it.
  10. I'm with you. I doubt Jesse would intentionally harm the White family. I thought this was great : http://t.co/mPpL3Duj0D
  11. I first heard that song while I was shopping in a record store and it completely blew me away. I had to stop what I was doing and soak it in. Went home and immediately looked it up, probably before I listened to what I picked up that day. Moments like that are the only reason why I don't keep my headphones on when I'm in a record store, always a good change I'll hear something I wouldn't have otherwise.
  12. Rad! That's for the heads up on that, it would more than double my tape collection! NNA, Burger and Already Dead are the only participating labels that I'm familiar with. All three of them release quality material.
  13. That's an interesting theory (and I kind of like it). But I think that when he said he's out, he really meant it.
  14. Quite possibly. I went into only knowing the premise and that numerous people have told me it's good, past that I didn't really have any information about it.
  15. Evil Dead was easily the one horror franchise I didn't want touched regarding a remake. I grew up watching the originals and still hold them in extremely high regard. That being said, I enjoyed the 2013 remake a lot. I felt that it stayed faithful enough to the originals, while still being it's own film. I'd recommend going into it with a fairly open mind and it's a fun watch. Far better than all the 'found footage' garbage that's become the new trend in horror movies. Also, Jane Levy is a babe, so that doesn't hurt. I don't remember the score at all and I've watched the film twice. I'll have to check it out before I think about ordering. I do love the locked groove for extended horror idea quite a bit.
  16. There was definitely a lot of setup, but I have a feeling this episode and possibly the next will be moving all the pieces into place for the final two. The show has never had an issue taking it's time and I wouldn't expect that to change now (even if it doesn't have as much time to take). I have no idea how this is all going to play out overall. I did like how Skylar suggested that Walt take care of Jesse, seemed like an interesting line her character crossed.
  17. Watched The Source Family last night. Not a great documentary, but it kept my attention for the duration. Can't highly recommend it, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from watching it either. Finished the first season of Six Feet Under as well. I don't know if it's because the show is a little dated, but it feels a bit like a soap opera to me. It's enjoyable, but I don't love it. Might start season two this evening.
  18. Longboard looks excellent, well done! There are two many damn hills here for me to ride mine anymore...
  19. That has to be the most generic review I've read in a long time. Getting the 'cover' part wrong is pretty hilarious too! Great job associated press!
  20. I really dig that cover art. I'm guessing Deathwish will have some copies for sale, probably snag this when I order from them again.
  21. Dean Norris has the ending for us right here : http://FunnyOrDie.com/m/88p7
  22. ^ those were just two bands that I could think of that every 'edgy' hard rock station plays and transience sounds like a bad hard rock song to me, that's all. Sorry you were exposed to Mudvayne, awful stuff!
