  1. I just checked and it's $42.50 USD to Australia through the US site, still expensive but a lot better than $63 from the UK store. Fortunately I'll be in the states at the time and can have it shipped to my girlfriend's place.
  2. A REAL ESTATE & DOMINO MART EXCLUSIVE: - Limited Edition of 1,000 - Heavyweight 180gram Maroon Vinyl - Exclusive 7" Featuring Two Non-Album Songs; "The Chancellor" b/w "Recreation" - Gate-Fold Debossed Sleeve - Postcard Featuring 'Alexander's Mural' (Paramus, NJ - USA) - Includes MP3 Download Card http://www.dominorecordco.us/usa/albums/13-01-14/atlas/
  3. My Castle Face order finally came in as well as a couple of other scores.
  4. Any Australians after some cheap indie titles: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/samwotherspoon/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  5. The two songs previewed so far are incredible. I'm going to hold off on the pre-order and hopefully pick this up from Permanent Records in a few weeks.
  6. Oxford Art Factory? I saw them there on the last tour and they were really great, bummer I had work and missed out this time. In a similar boat regarding pre-ordering, that purple does look pretty sharp though.
  7. $80 for Grouper's "Way Their Crept" on clear vinyl (/100) There are a few Ty Segall/Fuzz releases I wouldn't mind paying above cost for but the prices set by flippers currently are a little out of my league.
  8. It looks like Amoeba came into the possession of the limited /20 variants of Fuzz's Sleigh Ride and Sunderberry Dream 7". Only $356 and $520 respectively (with 5 days to go). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FUZZ-Sunderberry-Dream-7-LTD-PRESSING-of-20-COPIES-TY-SEGALL/360829342423?_trksid=p2050601.m2451&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D266%26meid%3D3935006015117497135%26pid%3D100103%26prg%3D1141%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D360829342423%26clkid%3D3935008803728009652&_qi=RTM1582271 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FUZZ-Sleigh-Ride-7-LTD-PRESSING-of-20-COPIES-TY-SEGALL-/350969536810?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item51b76a212a&_uhb=1
  9. I've been on the lookout for a white copy of Ty Segall & White Fence's "Hair" for awhile now and recently came across a promising eBay listing. The record was still sealed but the seller assured me it was the white pressing acquired through a store he worked at for RSD and I decided to take the gamble. Well it finally arrived today and I'm beyond psyched to have snagged one of my white whales for only $16 (and relieved to have avoided owning a second copy on black wax)
  10. I don't own any test presses and I've only ever seen 2 or 3 that I would have liked to buy on eBay. What's the best way to go about obtaining one? Emailing labels and bands or just staking it out on sites like eBay and discogs?
  11. I found this photo on instagram and did a little digging. It looks like Tomlab must have handled the repress (as opposed to In The Red) because I could only find it available from a couple of retailers in the UK: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/thee-oh-the-masters-bedroom-is-worth/511532-01/ http://www.normanrecords.com/records/98977-thee-oh-sees-masters-bedroom-is-worth-spending-a-night-in (only 2 copies left) I have no idea how large the pressing is and can't find any information besides the above links but it's definitely a great album worth owning.
  12. Another heads up, White Fence - Cyclops Reap defaults to black vinyl on the order page but the red, white & blue + magenta variants are still available when you select them. Definitely one of my favourite albums of the year and worth picking up. It's also great to see that the guys have sold out of a lot of stuff (including all of Thee Oh Sees besides the pepto/clear variant of Singles Vol. 3), they deserve it.
  13. I was fortunate enough to meet up with Josh (Deakin) of Animal Collective earlier in the year and we sat and spoke for about an hour over coffee. I broke my cool once we got back to the band's hotel and asked if he'd sign my People 7". He was more than happy to and when he noticed Noah (Panda Bear) standing out the front he asked "Do you want me to get Noah to sign it for you to?" Of course I said yes and he ended up introducing me to Noah and we spoke for awhile before they had to get to soundcheck.
  14. I can only hope that this will yield a Ty/JPD collab LP similar to "Hair".
  15. Finally received my oldies order + red and green Illinois just in time for Christmas
  16. I would say either "Blood" or "Little Bird Flies into a Big Black Cloud" by the Microphones. The only LPs missing from my Phil Elverum collection and hard to come by these days.
  17. Another long shot but has anyone grown tired of their copy and wants to pull through with a Christmas miracle? I wouldn't mind paying above cost for this.
  18. Maybe this is obvious and I'm missing something completely but where is the numbering on burger cassettes? I've ordered a few "hand numbered" tapes in the past but have never seen anything on them to show that. Obviously not a big deal, just curious.
  19. I've only ever had orders from Canada to Australia take 2-3 months and one order that never showed up. This holiday season has been fairly well balanced with some surprisingly quick deliveries (2 orders from In The Red made it to Australia in 5 days flat) and a couple of slower deliveries I'm still waiting on from last month. Hopefully everyone's Christmas is filled with USPS miracles this year.
  20. I'm in Australia and have yet to receive my copy, I vaguely recall seeing that they'd ship in December sometime. Does Rough Trade usually do shipping confirmation for online orders or will it just show up?
  21. Surprisingly someone had a copy on discogs for $25! I was dubious at first because the black and purple pressing info is on the same page, so I've only ever seen a lot of black copies for sale, but I contacted the seller and they confirmed the vinyl colour for me.
  22. If you want a really good deal and have a few other records to pick up, you can score the White Fence "Pink Gorilla" 7" on pink wax for $1.
  23. My order was shipped about a month ago and has yet to show up. It's coming to Australia so I'm not stressing just yet but I've ordered and received several records in the time between and am hoping that this one hasn't been lost somewhere amidst the holiday rush. Is the "Customs Label Number" the same as a tracking number? Because that doesn't seem to be working for me (USPS says the package is NOT FOUND when I enter it on the site).
