Hot espresso shot + frappucchino/blended drink kinda messes with the texture. Cold brew in place of water or milk does the trick. Also thinking of stupid frap recipes for the summer, someone ordered a peanut butter banana one the other day that I might steal. I'm not a huge concert goer, but I recently saw Tobacco open for Flaming Lips. It was a little hilarious because I live in a cute little white America-type village, so I was the only person in the audience stoked to see him, and it showed. Nobody knew who he was or cared, you could see it on their faces. He eventually got his set cut short because he was showing that E.T. porn film while he was playing. Oops. Flaming Lips always put on a hell of a show, shit flying everywhere, I think he covered a Devo song too. Then he played Do You Realize?? as a second encore. Now, my girlfriend's a good bit younger than me - she had just graduated high school. She didn't go to prom with me because she had promised her gay friend they would go as a couple before she even knew me, so I said if Flaming Lips played Do You Realize?? then I'd still get my slow dance, and I did. I didn't expect to hear it, I assumed Wayne was probably sick of that song by now, but fortunately I was wrong. My favorite album is still Them, Roaring Twenties - Future Sandwich. It's a juvenile math rock mess from a one-album band but it's absolutely incredible. A ton of love and work was put into that album. EDIT: Forgot to mention, no vinyl release of this, just cd boxes with a board game inside! If we're talking records, then at this very moment it's my Death Grips - Exmilitary that I just got, just because of the buildup and anticipation and always wanting it and assuming I'd never be stupid enough to shell out X amount of dollars. Well I was. The first vinyl purchase I made was Stnnng - Dignified Sissy for $40, in October 2012. Looking back, that may not have been the smartest deal, but I was in love with that album at the time and my first trek to Discogs showed only one there so I snatched it up. I'm glad I did. Pretty raw yet melodic noise rock album where the singer just yells clever lyrics tunelessly. SO GOOD. Cool of you to do this man. Wonder what I'll do for my 1k.

Merged my vinyl want list into my cassette one to make one fat list! I'm looking for a lot of newer rare-ish cassette tapes, pretty much no vintage. If any of these are still for sale somewhere (not Discogs) I'd be very appreciative if you'd point me in that direction. This would be a lot, lot easier for everybody and a lot more stuff would get dispersed if you had some kind of catalogue or inventory of the total items, rather than a bunch of strangers random want lists. Some posters may mainly want modern stuff or niche things and sending you a want list would be a waste of time, since nobody has any idea what sort of stuff he carries besides a couple of items in the video. Just a suggestion, since I feel like sending my want list would be a waste of time for those reasons.

This is cool and all but after shipping and, uh, tax I guess (shipping for two 20 dollar records was 7.59 but an extra 3.20 was added on top of that) all this did was make the records ppd. Some guy was selling both the LP and the tape together on ebay. I spent too much, slightly due to a misunderstanding on my end, I don't ebay much. Still, I have something I've wanted for a while, I'll just be happy with it.

The record shop I frequent still had RSD copies of Frightened Rabbit / Twilight Sad demos on cassette. They had three, so I was surprised, but I'm sure the alarming $11.50 price tag is what drove people away. Still, they're hand numbered out of 777, and it's two great Scottish bands, so. Also got the Never Young - Master Copy that was linked here some time ago in the mail. It's this nice, extra big book-sized cassette case that doesn't fit in anything - I'm sure they enlarged it so they could house the zine. It's pretty looking, but nowhere to put it. Also copped Death Grips - Exmilitary on tape somehow, it sounds like a pro dubbing job, absolutely phenomenal.

I don't understand the big avocado-on-tuna, thing. I'm a massive avocado fan and want it on almost anythhing, but avocado is mushy and tuna is squishy. It doesn't seem like an amazing combination. Am I missing out? Also, based on the texture equation, why would anyone think 'replace all mayo with avocado!' would be a good idea? If you're gonna replace mayo, just try veganaise, it's the least painful substitute.

Might be. I haven't heard of it til now, but it kinda sounds like a small latte, just.. really light on the milk? I dunno about other places, but the main reasons for my place is 1. Cost of ingredients to mess around (small business), and 2. barely anyone gives me the freedom to just make them something. I still try and do it from time to time, because our drink list never changes and it's boring serving the same thing all the time. I've tried to make a cookie latte, orange creamsicle frap, banana split, deluxe neopolitan. I hate when I mention how many flavors we have and what I could try and make and they just decide on plain ass vanilla. BORING, DUDE.
