Well time and time again has shown that buying straight from the artist is by far the worst way to purchase vinyl. I definitely feel a bit ripped off by this. Same thing for the new king gizzard album, the 200 gram black version was almost 50 with shipping and you can get it other places for 20-30. I'm not even interested in rare varients or anything, I just want to support the artist, but also I'm not a rich man and I'm trying to save up for a house.

Check out sandy pussy. Gross name but awesome doom inspired surf rock. Also check out secret chiefs 3 for middle eastern surf spaghetti western hybrid music. There's some metal in there occasionally but its amazing. Book M, Book of Horizons, second grand constitutions and bylaws are their best albums.

I agree, I don't have kids but the tone of the show is definitely nostalgic for me and R-rated gore and nudity would derail the E.T./ X-Files/Goonies feel of the show.

Yeah my point was that I would have gotten this at a later date when I had more money. I don't give a shit about rarity, I just like this album and would have gladly gotten a repress at later date with cheaper shipping. I bought it under the impression that there were only 1000 being pressed so it was a now or never type of mentality. I am glad that they are printing more so everyone gets to enjoy it though, I just don't like being misled. When I was in art school we talked about doing an edition of a print and it betrays your buyers trust if you go behind their backs and print 50 more. They bought it under the auspice of there only being 50 of that edition, so printing 50 more after the fact is essentially lying to them. Obviously art is different than records but its the same deal.
