You take my comment anyway you please, bro. We all have our own opinions of the guy and i was making a general statement. if you want to find it that I was ripping on the guy so be it because my statement had nothing to do about him, per say. it was more how everyone all of sudden comes out of the woodwork and says he was their hero. I thought the guy was a talented musician, but i'm not going to be all PC and say how much I loved his work. I haven't listened to his music since the 80's. And, for someone who his stroking him I didn't see one record of his at all in your collection, "dipshit".

I usually stick my fingers in my ears and sing obnoxiously when I don't know how to deal with confrontation, too. It works especially well in person and has gotten me very far in life.
    Also, who are you?

OK, bad news for the Parkway Drive fans. I was in my first choice RSD store today and they said they were offered it but turned it down as it's not the sort of music they normally sell (which is true). I shall contact the other big RSD store here and see what they say. Their queue starts earlier and isn't under shelter. This may mean that stores don't see a big demand for it and there could be copies readily available when they go up online. You never know.

I have emailed you, so let's sort this out. Mistakes do happen but the thing that really concerns me from a customer's point of view is a non-functioning email address. That really makes people think something is off.

either be a total bro and start tagging some other poon or end things with her cold turkey and move on. her feels are more important to her than yours are. it's normal to be bothered when the person you like is shagging their creepy tattoo artist freak nasty. the fact that it bothers you is a good indicator that those kind of lifestyle choices might not be your thing.

Thanks to Deoxitizer for the offer of handling a big shipment. Will see if this can be worked closer to the time.

Happy to say that barring last minute emergencies, I will be in the queue from the early hours this year.

Have found some prices and a little more information on UK releases. Details on things people have asked for:

Lush - Origami: £86.99 (500. Possibly just the number in the UK)
    Ian Brown - Solarized: £25.99
Clint Mansell & Kronos Quartet - Requiem For A Dream Soundtrack: £31.99
    NGHFB - El Mexicano: £15.99
    Pinkshinyultrablast: £18.99 (500)
Nirvana - Live On Kaos FM: £19.99 (500)
    Architects - Lost Forever/Lost Together: £21.99 (1000 worldwide; 400 UK)
    Ginger Wildheart - From G*A*S*S With Love: £16.99 (1000)
Hozier - Take Me To The Church: £12.99
The Levellers - A Weapon Called The Word: £19.99
Bardo Pond - Acid Guru Pond: £28.99 (1000)
Mew - And The Glass Handed Kites: £20.99 (2000 worldwide. Will look for more info as my source says two different colours; pink & silver)
The Adverts - Crossing The Red Sea: £26.99
The Adverts - Cast Of Thousands: £19.99
Beach Slang - Broken Thrills: £18.99
Blond Redhead - Peel Sessions: £9.99
    Clutch - Elephant Riders: £19.99
Parkway Drive - Horizons: £21.99 (400 for the UK. No idea for the world. Don't hold your breath people).
    Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms: £24.99 (500)
    Dark Tranquillity - Fiction: £29.99 (1000)
Jack Off Jill - Sexless Demons and Scars: £19.99 (500)
Jack Off Jill - Clear Hearts Grey Flowers: £23.99 (500)
Sia - The We Meaning You Tour Live: £19.99 (1000)
    Wednesday 13 - Monsters Of The Universe: £23.99 (500)
    Mike Oldfield - Nuclear: £14.99
Roo Panes - Little Giant: £19.99

These prices are not from the store I use. Some may be more, some may be less. My final, backup store charges significantly more which is why I only go there if I have to.

The majority of the Architects and Parkway Drive records are not in the UK. The Placebo record was like this last year and I hoovered up a bunch from Portugal. Don't give up and dig deep into Google.

I truly don't mean this in an offensive way to you, thebiglebowski, in any way, and I'm not saying there needs to more immigration (I think it's a very complex answer with no straightforward answer).

BUT, that statement is very uninformed, ignorant, and around the wrong company could be quite offensive.

As a Manager at several different workplaces in several different industries, and as a data collection manager for the government regarding immigrants and their education the idea that they are all (or even as a majority) unskilled laborers is simply incorrect.

The reason they end up in all of the unskilled jobs is not that they themselves are unskilled, but that their education does not correlate/is not recognized in north america.  The majority of the immigrants I've worked with or surveyed had skills to offer that our over regulated industries would not accept.  Please know that I'm not saying that regulations should be relaxed, again it's a very complex issue without a straightforward answer.

EDIT: I still feel like this is worded too strongly, it's really not flamebait or an invitation to argue.  I just truly think that many people are misinformed when it comes to this point.  There are tons of Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, etc, that drive cabs, own gas stations, and work at corner stores because their education is not recognized and they don't have the means to go through school again.

Seeing as I am in the UK, I tried this out. I got:

    Mutation (10" compilation)

The Catharsis - Romance on green vinyl

Turtlehead - I Preferred Their Earlier Stuff (Picture disc)

Dead Cuts - Dark Is The Night on grey vinyl and on CD

The Mire / Chronos on 10" blue vinyl

The Mire / Chronos split amounts to 10 minutes a side and certainly isn't an LP. A CD isn't either. The Mutation comilation just about scrapes in length-wise.

When I replied to the confirmation email, it bounced straight back to me as undelieverable. The same address is on their website as contact details.

Whilst it cost me less than £20, I still didn't get what I paid for. I shall be letting Big Cartel know that oneof their users is a bit dodgy and (more importantly) uncontactable.

I've had quite a few problems with their packing. If you buy more than will fit in one of their bespoke mailers they seem to come loose in a box with some thick paper crumpled on top. Bends and seam splits abound. I've had splits in records in their mailers too, so I wonder what their quality control is like before they send things out. I think they have got worse as they have got bigger (which isn't an unusual phenomenon).
