First and Foremost, I fucking love tacos.

This has been a food I have loved for years and even more in the last year or so. That's when I discovered that I could have tacos with not only beef, but with chicken, chorizo, fish, shrimp, steak or whatever else your beating heart desires. Screw the people who only think tacos should have beef on them. The whole discussion about tacos not being good can fuck off. TACOS ARE THE BEST, SO GET OVER IT. THE SALSA, THE SOUR CREAM, THE LETTUCE. The combinations are limitless. (im looking at you, my taco loving brethren.)

Tacos will always be in their prime. I was down with the taco from day one. All you new jacks, enjoy it up and get on board with the taco eating. EVERYTHING ABOUT TACOS ARE AWESOME. It's time again! Like last year you have a chance to win a fairly rare record. For those who haven't been on here or haven't seen last year's contest, you can find it here. The rules are very similar to last year's rules, but I made some slight changes.
RULES
The game will end 6 PM (EST) on 10/30/2015. Even if there's already a right guess, the winner will be informed after the deadline. You don't have to name a specific pressing, just the artist + album name. If you guessed right, but want a specific pressing/colour/... I may not have, you can also pass your win to the next one or let me put it on ebay for an charity auction. Just one guess per person. If you name multiple albums, only the most recent one will be counted. If more than one person guesses the record, then the first one who guessed it right wins. If no one guesses right, the record will go on ebay and all proceeds will be donated to a charity. Only persons with at least 200 posts can take part. Sorry, but I don't want people to create multiple accounts to increase their chance of winning. The record itself is free, but the winner has to pay $10 for postage (worldwide). If you don't agree, don't take part. After each day I will give a new hint. Some may be useful, others may not. HINTS

I could be an asshole. I want to be an asshole. But I'm in the middle of an emotional breakdown so I'll go against the grain here.
What I look for in a record player is that it isn't garbage that will destroy my shit (Crosley).
I choose vinyl over other mediums because I'm a prentuous asshole. I like to receive a product of significance and weight when I choose to pay for art. When I started collecting records they were cheaper than CDs. I buy records despite having a massive SD card for my phone. I buy books despite having a Kindle. I buy blurays despite having the internet. In this digital age there is a niche of weirdos who like to be able to hold a thing. As shitty as it is, I like owning a limited product that only a finite number of people can have.
Storing records is a pain in the ass never-ending nightmare that will haunt me to my grave

Ok, last time I'm explaining all this as I've done it multiple times already in this thread.
 
Travis used to be the drummer in the Aquabats before he became an exclusive vinyl variant buyer for Hot Topic.  About a year ago, he posted a link to a cryptic website www.fightoffyoursplatters.com that just had a date on it 11/11/2014.  Many suspected that this was when the new Transplants splatter was going to be released but others believed that this was just the date for when the new line of Hot Topic Adventure Time t-shirts would go on sale and that the site had nothing to do with Travis or vinyl.  On 11/05/2014, the site went offline suddenly and all the whois domain info was erased.  Since then, about every other month, Travis has popped into this thread and hinted that the site was actually a countdown to when the rights to a certain band's discography would become available to purchase.  When pressured, Travis gave the hint "+44, B182, BCR, As".  We all concluded that +44 meant "More than 44" and BL182 meant "but less (than) 182" and BCR meant "Bat Commander returns".  So, we expected HT to release several splatter variants of Aquabats records sometime in the next 44 to 182 days but, obviously, that time window has since ended with no new news.  Travis won't comment and HT doesn't answer emails asking about Fury, Return, or Floating Eye reissues.  They returned one about Myths and Legends but it was just an empty email with no text.  That's all I know and all I can say.
