I really see how people get excited about purchasing a record they love and been dying to get for quite a while, but I have to disagree about spending TWOHUNDRED DOLLARS for an LP being a good deal. It's record craziness and beyond. I am happy for each and everyone of you who payed A LOT of money for records they wanted, but this is not the right thread for this..

Hope you didn't take it the wrong way, didn't mean to be offensive to anyone. It's impossible to put a reasonable price tag on something that has huge emotional value to someone. If it was worth it to you, then it was worth it. Enjoy the records, that's what we're all about.

I'm pretty baffled about how I was the most excited in years for two old records being rereleased and now with new music being teased, I honestly couldn't care less about it.. Post 'Moon' Modest Mouse just don't do anything for me at all.

I don't think its wrong! that I want to sell! ALL the albums someday at a reasonable price (after The Powers That B comes out) for a reasonable price. ($200!?) I paid $20 for Exmil! I want to see all the albums go to someone in a bundle. sorry. not trying to be "a jerk". I'm not FLIPPING the LP. I just wanted two, I reached out to people assuming I wasn't even going to be able to get 1! :-)

Comes with 40+ page 12x12 Booklet and a huge poster. Really digging the setlist and it sounds phenomenal. Four songs, one on each side.

49 pages in and this thread finally starts making sense.

This one isn't entirely a white whale. i have the EP itself on vinyl, but what I cannot find for the life of me is the Rough Trade pre-order edition, which includes a short story book "The Wet and Windy Moors and other trials by E.L. Moss." Never seen it online anywhere. 
 
Readily available, but nowhere near my price range:
Warpaint - Exquisite Corpse (on blue vinyl...only a hundred pressed but there's usually one on discogs for an unsurprisingly high price)
Beck - Sea Change (this has been pressed three times...its continued scarcity/high price confounds me)

Theres no way this is not digital. It would be waaaay too expensive to cut a limited quantity variant repress all analogue from the original analogue master. As long as you buy nothing but 60s-70s first presses or mfsl, 99% of your collection are digital.

There'll always be people complaining about colored vinyl, regardless of what it actually sounds like. I've made some disappointing experiences with colored vinyl myself, but many people (audiophiles?) tend to say it's shit, just because its colored.
I bought black copies of both albums to listen to and colored ones for the sake of having two of my favorite albums on awesome looking vinyl, but it turned out they do sound just as good as the black ones.
