Jacksonville City Nights is going to be in stock on Amazon on Dec. 5. I wish I knew more about whether these old records popping up were actual represses, or whether they are found stock. 29 popped up for a while, but now its much less available, and pushing $30 in some places...

Badly Drawn Boy's wonderful debut is being reissued as a deluxe, 3LP edition in honor if its 15th anniversary. I am actually listening to this album as I type in the forum entry... its so damn good. So good. So good. The 3rd LP will have 13 rare bonus tracks, and the LP will be numbered with a leatherette sleeve. Awesome.

Ryan was interviewed on Zane Lowe [Taylor calls in] and announced his new album is done. Its a double album (21 songs) releasing in 2 parts (so it's easier to digest) and will be "more fragile" than Love is Hell

It's the film I've been producing for the past 2.5 years. Premiere was amazing. Ehdawds on here came since he's Canadian. Figured a few VCers might dig this. Gratifying when people get what you set out to do as seems to be happening.

But... that's not why I'm posting. A couple years back, my best friend got engaged. He happened to have this record on while doing so (a record I had given him!), and I got a bit of an idea. I e-mailed Yo La Tengo, with no real expectation of hearing back, and whaddaya know? They wrote me back, and helped me arrange getting a copy signed and drawn on (people heading into the church!) for their wedding present. Such nice people.
