I am going to end up ordering both of these and i'll just have to go without food for a week. The black parade came out so pretty and the three cheers one is great too and i'm really happy they went with the original artwork for the album since i already have the original pressing of it and i've always thought the revenge cover was ugly.

Indeed, I've always been biased towards artists getting their part but this really is one of those stories where people were young and made some bad decisions. As McPherson said, we've got Om and High On Fire so we've really got nothing to complain about. One could be mad at those arses that canned Dopesmoker in the first place but then again I'm not sure I'd trade Om's and HOF's discography for a few more Sleep albums. It's a moot point either way, can't go back in time...yet.

The word "Deluxe" scares me. Remember the deluxe version of Whales and Leeches? Two extra short songs that somehow required a whole second 12" and the price was three times the single LP version. Oh, yeah and it had a lenticular cover. That was necessary.
 
I'd be glad to see standard reissues of the TDEP back catalog but if its deluxe it will be uselessly expensive.
