I’m sure if you use Discogs you already saw the notices but the site is going to start automatically collecting sales tax for about 20 US states starting in July:

Starting July 1, 2019, Discogs will be taking on full responsibility for the calculation, collection, and remittance of sales taxes in all states where we qualify as a Marketplace Facilitator (MPF). A list of these states is available in the help article linked below. 

In states where Discogs does not qualify as an MPF, it is important for sellers to determine their own sales tax responsibilities. We urge sellers to use a professional tax advisor to help determine these responsibilities. 

Discogs will be launching a new feature where sellers can view MPF states as well as toggle on / off states that they've determined it is necessary to collect sales tax. Beginning July 1, this tool will be available on the seller settings page. We will also be adding new information to the Marketplace Order export to assist with tracking sales tax that has been collected. 
 
It looks like they’ll add it into the purchase and then pay it on behalf of sellers, so if you live in one of the affected states expect the price of your Discogs purchases to go up.
 
(Seems like a lot of the European sellers on the forums are upset and threatening to block US sales!)

Agree, it’s a bit weird. But I’ll take a new song and 7” any day. Won’t be buying the comp.

Would Kelly Conaboy agree with you that “Metal Detektor” should be on there? Possibly. But we had to narrow this shit down somehow. After a couple weeks of late nights, listening to each album in its entirety & mulling over what constitutes a “hit,” the best thing seemed to be to pick our favorite songs to play and our favorite moments on record, then arrange them to give a flow & identity to this record itself.

i have no idea, but this latest tour was the same for every country.
europe isn't london, the us isnt new york / la and canada isn't toronto. we have zero say in their touring plans, just stoked to see them play more shows

They had the tour variant at £15, or the standard variants for £10.
 
They didn't seem to be limiting the number you could buy though.

Went to the London show last night and they were phenomenal! Whatever has happened recently, the fire is well and truly back! You could tell they were all loving it and giving it 150%.
 
Had to leave early, so missed a real old track they dug up, but still a great show.
 
And even better, there's a Green tour variant of Familiar Drugs, limited to 250 total (40 per night)

Don’t get why they market them for 180g releases (standard sleeves usually work fine), but they’re great for larger releases that aren’t box sets. I personally use the polyethylene  ones with resealable flap.

Yes, they ALL “outgas.”
 
The gas goes right through paper and cardboard, and will damage the playing surface of the record over time.
 
The gas even goes through poly lined inner sleeves, but slower.
 
I had a “new” Simply Vinyl album that had this damage, and there is no correcting it. 😣
 
Just don’t use them.

Haven’t sleeved mine yet, but I usually use sleeves from this line for something like this:

Note that calling them 180g sleeves is a bit unhelpful, since standard 180g releases fit fine in normal sleeves. But these are good for anything smaller than a boxset that requires some extra room. 

3LP and Cherry Tree exclusive came in today. Few notes:
- 3LP includes a poster that the CT version does not
- The brush stroke detail on the jacket is embossed and glossy on the CT version, but not the 3LP
- F-side etching on the 3LP is boring
- Download codes aren't active until Friday and do not include the score

Just back from the Paris show tonight. Stunning. 
 
As well as justifying the £50 Cherry Tree outlay last year (I used the CT early pre-order link to get tickets and, despite the lottery, ended up dead-centre in the third row), the new material is excellent. 
 
They screened the movie, did a short Q&A, and then played the album through in full (I think). I’m really excited to hear the album now.  
 
Anyone who’s heading out to the later shows, enjoy.
