Daniel Avery has his new EP 'Slow Fade' available now limited to 400 copies as well as a PO for his new album 'Songs for Alpha' available April 6.  The new album is available in a 2LP or a 2LP + 10" exclusive.  Deluxe comes to 2 pennies shy of $40 shipped... eek.  

I was a huge fan of his last album 'Drone Logic' it's a solid UK techno banger.  I'm typically not a fan of true techno full length albums, but this is good start to finish and flows very nicely.  
 
By listening to his new EP and the single from his new album, he has taken a much more downtempo/ambient approach.

Thanks for posting.  Some really good deals on there.  Picked up the 8 Panel Pauls Boutique, Katy Perry - Teenage Dream, Beck - Morning Phase, and Pet sounds for $60 shipped not bad at all.

Some cheap Capitol Records titles at Crate and Barrel. Yes, you read that right. Blind Melon being the best one, IMO.

Totally. Box set came yesterday and feels super sturdy and reminds me of the old 70’s Carpenters albums or something. The Atlantic labels and everything are really cool throwback or maybe they never stopped? Either way 40 bones for the set is worth it which is really cool and almost never happens.

That  Deluxe Box Set was totally worth the $40  That green with the atlantic label and all the other goodies.  And this album!

They were talking about ZGTO on NPR the other day played 'off dat'.  Pretty sweet.

Love it, like it, or hate it.  This album is exactly what I expected.  I really liked The Suburbs and then Reflektor came as somewhat of a shock to me, but it really grew on me and seeing them on that tour cemented it.  You could tell at that point they were moving in a different direction and the singles released beforehand represent the album fairly.  Again, just as I expected.  I like it.  Yes Funeral is an excellent album, but it came out 13 years ago.  Shit 13 years ago I was in high school, things change.  It's cliche, but we live in a different world now.

I've always dreamed of a Kallax-like shelf, but with the records facing cover out in some type of crate that slides out on brackets so you fan flip through the album covers and slide it back in if that makes sense.  The brackets would have to be super heavy duty.  That would be awesome.
