we knew the box set wouldn't be for everyone, which is why we created less than 300 and have the standard edition for $24.98. the box set is for dorks like me who want something extra from one of their favorite films. we worked hard on creating fun items that are all directly related to the script.. including a few that i think/hope (?) fans will get actual use out of or at least really appreciate the attention to detail on.
that aside, a 5 piece set of enamel pins, getting one of the actors on board, paying artists, housing everything inside a custom gold foil box.. it was the most expensive project I've ever worked on, including my other label that is on cat #62 this year.
to each their own, we appreciate you picking up the standard edition! 

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Curious how much the box will be, but I'll get one version or another regardless.

I'm friends with friends of theirs, and I know that half the city of Louisville would buy it if it were pressed haha. There's actually a 1/1 test  of a 7" that exists and the drummer's brother has it iirc.

So I had preordered all of the Rugrats, Ahh! Real Monsters and Catdogs pops from my local GameStop since I'm friends with a couple of the guys and figured they would help me out with chases. They all came in today except Oblina from Monsters. I got both fucking Rugrats chases!!! Only downside is they didn't get a common Reptar so I still have to hunt him down. So fucking hyped that I got the chases though. I don't usually care too much as long as I get the characters I want, but I really wanted these chases. 

I remember the final pressings, I just wasn't aware they were all gone. Oh well. Still plenty of Against Me! on there, and A Wilhelm Scream's Partycrasher which I still need to get.

My packing slip has an order date of 06/15/16. I think this is the longest record preorder I've been a part of. 

I don't disagree with you, but I've seen ETID enough times that I know what to expect. They're amazing. I hadn't even heard a single letlive. track before seeing them, only watched them based on word of mouth. I was so fucking blown away. 

Fake History and The Blackest Beautiful (aside from its mastering) are two absolutely phenomenal albums. I had trouble getting super into If I'm the Devil... because I thought it was a pretty big departure in sound. Lyrically, it's fantastic, and the musicianship is great as well, but as a whole, it was a little too "soft" or less chaotic than I expected, which forced me to consider it to be a bit of a letdown.
 
Aside from the recordings, this band was easily, bar none, the BEST live band on the planet. The energy, excitement, and fervor that they brought every night should be appreciated for years to come. I can't say enough good things about those guys live. They blew me away each time.
 
I was super bummed to read the break-up post. I hope that Jason goes on to make music in some capacity. He's got great and important things to say and he says them extremely thoughtfully and eloquently. Plus, he's got a fantastic voice.

For real though, I love how sad this chick is. It's so tight. 

Just got two tickets to see Jimmy Eat World and Beach Slang in Bloomington, IN, in May. Can't believe they're coming here. The place may be 1,000 cap, so it's gonna be crazy. I'm also seeing Matt Pryor and Dan Andriano next month at a venue that's maybe 400 cap at the very most. Bloomington is killing it this year.
