I actually picked this up from fye over the weekend for $6.99 but there's a story behind it. Found it for $34.99 and I used a coupon for 20% off. The cashier says "the system shows the coupon applied but didn't take anything off". This was her first day on the job and didn't know what she was doing. The only other person that was working was assisting someone else so we waited about 5 minutes until eventually he came over and was like "okay we're going to manually apply the discount". He had her pull out her phone's calculator to figure it out and she's like "how do I do that?" so while I mentally face palm I said "the discount is $6.99". Instead of subtracting that from $34.99, he set the price to $6.99 and said "okay all set, that'll be $6.99" and walked away. I was almost surprised that she didn't realize that was 80% off but then again she didn't know to figure out 20% off of $34.99. I kinda felt bad but $6.99 is a more appropriate price for this record. Also, surprisingly, it's sold out everywhere.

The fact that the guy who once screamed "God is dead/ And no one cares," while writhing on the floor in S&M bondage gear, just composed a perfect 1930s musical pastiche of a score in 2020 is.... mind-blowing.

I have everything he’s put out with the exception of three of the cassettes. His store, Material World in Brooklyn is in my top three stores I’ve even been to. 

Mine does the same as well. It’s annoying but it’s a fraction of the record and goes by in 5 ok 10 seconds. It’s definitely sourced from a cd but to have it on vinyl I don’t care. 
 
I met the mail carrier outside saying how I’ve waited years for this. He says he delivers a lot of records and asks what band it is. I reluctantly tell him and he immediately says “yeah I know them they’re good”.  We take about 10 steps away from each other and he turns and says “the guy with the big hair that plays the double neck guitar”. Mind blown. I saw this band tour for this record and now my mail carrier knows who they are!! Thankful to have a copy both green ha! 

How is this OK to say?!?!? Seriously.

I have a ton of cds and some vinyl. There has been a lot of rereleases and I imagine at some point you’ll be able to get whatever you want on vinyl. There’s just so much.

This! I love It’s All Crazy and I had never heard of them until randomly going to the A-B Life anniversary tour. Their whole discography is special in its own ways. Thankful to finally have this for a reasonable price.

Corporate and technical careers at Amazon come with benefits. Low level fulfillment center running employment (the thing that actually keeps customers FULFILLED) is substandard still even though they were publicly shamed into raising their terrible wages. The particular and gross level of the disparity between what Jeff Bezos takes home versus the austerity waging and indecent pressurization of the fulfillment center staff is reason for the scrutiny. Its a question of decency and well-being of the nation. If we allow workers to be subject to such inhumane treatment to keep King Bezos rolling in his Scrooge McDuck fortune what good is our society? What good is it for our society? We have been conditioned to betray the principles that we might have had to prevent the acceptance of such injustice. And when the goal of most other major corporate employers is to cut so many corners by underpaying its grunt workers to maximize every last iota of profit to be delivered directly to the top and forsaking the economic fortitude of those many who suffer to prop up the King, we have a serious problem. Amazon is the worst offender of this type of employee conditions while being overseen by the most wealthy owner in the country.  That's why there's so much heat on Amazon.
