Travis has an Excel document where he logs how many requests for an album he gets in this thread.  When the tally reaches 250, then he knows that Hot Topic will be able to press the 800 copies necessary for a release (estimated 250 will be sold to VCers, 150 to regular non-VC shoppers, and the rest go to lazylabradorrecords on eBay).  So, if you've been clamoring for an ETID repress but not seeing any change or progress it is likely because its the same few posters asking for it and not 250 different posters.

I made a video for my stuff, and I can't be more thankful. This is a solid 15 minutes of me being my awkward teenage self, so if you ever wondered what I look/sound like...well, I just may be a prime competitor for Rez in the battle for most awkward video.
 
I hope I don't come off as insincere at all throughout the video, because I seriously mean it--I've had a pretty rough day and this, in contrast, made me really happy. Just read that zayzay paramore thread dom linked in the killers bootleg thread that got locked, for 14 pages I just hated paramore more, then I saw the Riot bowl and it made my morning. I've joked about how that was in print when I worked at a record store and how I wish I had bought it and turned it into a bowl to dishearten paramore fans, but Derek actually did it

I disagree, that lennon/mccartney songwriting is unmatched, they experimented with so many styles, studio techniques, instuments, and time signature changes,  happiness is a warm gun's song structure was unheard of at the time, and even bands like DEP don't get as mathy as that song. I don't think any other band could have accomplished that. Say what you want about Ringo, they deserve more praise than they get

to each his own.  i will say that most every meaningful band, chorus, melody, hook, riff or harmony of the last 50 years owes something to this band that put out 12 albums and something like 200 songs in 7+ years.  We are lucky to get 3 albums in that time from modern bands, with little to no innovation
 
their b-sides are better than most bands entire catalogues
 
its weird to hate them unless you are saturated with exposure, but in this day and age i sincerely doubt thats the case.  i havent accidentally heard a beatles song in a decade, i suspect.  there are way cooler/more relevant things to hate nowadays.
