  1. $10 for Too Dark Park?! Last I checked it was difficult to get anything in decent condition lower than $75 on Discogs. Bites & Remission easily fetch $60 as well. Actually, that's what they're listed for. Doesn't mean they're selling.
  2. Drag City isn't on streaming services like Spotify though. So we end up resorting to illegal downloads. I do have a ton of unused DL cards though - but that's if I buy a physical copy of a record long after it was released and I've already streamed it and/or downloaded it for offline listening. If I buy something on release or pre-order, that's when a DL card comes in handy. Especially if you can't stream it. But I digress...it's not too difficult to find it elsewhere.
  3. It's true. People even complain about complaining. It's true their prices are quite reasonable. Been a while since I ordered something directly from them so I wasn't aware/forgot about free US shipping. If things aren't limited I tend to just pick them up at a local shop on release, to avoid unnecessary packaging and potential delays.
  4. I really wish Drag City didn't make fans pay twice for physical and digital.
  5. Sweet! And proceeds the ACLU? I'm in. I guess Drag City doesn't know the difference between an LP and an EP.
  6. Well I ended up getting one from The Sound of Vinyl just now - surprised they still had some. $3 shipping is cheap for a 2LP.
  7. PO is up: https://www.hellomerch.com/collections/tera-melos/products/trash-generator-12-vinyl
  8. This shows up in a Google search, but the link indicates "page not found". Pending announcement, I suspect.
  9. Oh that blue is nice. I have an original US I picked up last year but this has those extra tracks. I wonder if the CD I had back in the day had 11 or 14 tracks...
  10. Sweet, these guys rip. I actually still haven't heard the last one all the way through but I loved Supporting Caste.
  11. Other Men - Wake Up Swimming (2007) Essentially Rob Crow's revival of Heavy Vegetable minus one of the members. A very under-appreciated album in Rob's discography. Lack of vinyl release may have something to do with that, but in 2007 probably not.
  12. I followed NIN's career and purchased all albums (on CD back then) up through The Slip. I didn't love any of them as much as the run from Pretty Hate Machine to The Fragile, but I still enjoyed them. That said, sometime between The Slip's release and Hesitation Marks, something happened and I just can't handle his voice anymore. It sounds so inauthentic that no matter how good the music may be I just can't seem to care about this anymore. We all know he's not an angsty teen or 20-something anymore and hasn't been for a long time, and I certainly picked up on that shift a long time ago, but maybe it's just in the last few years I can't even bother anymore.
  13. There's a difference between using red and green shapes (actually they are more burnt orange and mint) in a piece of art and "red and green swirl". If they match the tones used on the cover, cool. But I'm expecting more standard red an green on the vinyl. I hope I'm wrong.
  14. The clips above are giving me more confidence in the album compared to the lead single.
  15. There's a repress of King Gizzard's Quarters available, "Half Berry, Half Blender". Got one since I didn't own this album yet. https://www.castlefacerecords.com/products/king-gizzard-quarters
  16. So the non-US will probably look cooler and the US gets a Christmas edition.
  17. Really digging that album cover. Might pick up a Loser Edition locally if I dig the album as a whole. Haven't listened to the track yet, waiting for my currently playing vinyl to end.
  18. Good call. But since the album will be out a full month before they play in my city, and Drag City doesn't do streaming, I'll probably pick it up at a local shop on release day.
  19. That's a great price. Seems all my local shops are asking $38-39 which is still ok for a 3-LP release. I was really tempted to pick it up this weekend, and my local shops seem to have plenty of blue variants, but ultimately I decided I didn't need this. I really love the shade of blue and how perfect it is for the album, but I just really don't need to spend the money on this. Ended up spending about $250 on records this weekend anyway, not including a few on Discogs.
  20. Digging the new song. Ironic that their practice space is a former optician's office and someone thinks that color is maroon.
  21. Same - I rarely pre-order unless there's a limited release.
