  1. I meant to come back in here and post after the show last Sunday. RIPPED is accurate! What a fucking blast that was. I've not seen the other bands but that was definitely one of the most ripping shows I've seen in some time.
  2. I just ordered this one too. The inclusion of back artwork and labels, plus nice looking not overdone vinyl color sold me overall. I thought I was just going to grab ONE version of this record and I've just ordered two already. Hope nothing super awesome comes out anytime soon or ever. Doubtful.
  3. This looks great, love the alternate artwork and vinyl color. My first order. Shipping to PNW is more expensive than the record itself, but it was priced low enough that overall it comes out to a fair price.
  4. Well the album is certainly great - up to now for me it was Microtonal > Brunswick > Murder and it may surpass them all. Not sure where Polygondanaland is going to fit yet - we'll see with repeat listens - but it could surpass them all. Microtonal and Brunswick are kind of tied for me at the moment, they're so different it's hard to rate one over the other. But yeah Murder is definitely my least favorite.
  5. Dammit I forgot to download this and put it on my phone last night. Means I can't play it in the car this afternoon when running errands! Ugh. Could download it to my work computer but won't have much of an opportunity to listen at work today. Really great to hear people are loving it.
  6. Officially out digitally today - including Spotify. Hoping to listen ASAP.
  7. Would be awesome to update all the variants in the first post, can't remember where the lists are. Better bookmark it when I find it.
  8. Crazy how many labels have jumped on this already. Interesting to see all the variants (colors, as is typically the variant), but even more so how the different labels are going to handle artwork and packaging. The cover is the cover, but they're including a bunch of files for designing the back, insides, inner sleeves, A/B labels, etc. so there's a TON of possibilities for these to come out wildly different from one another, aside from vinyl color. Holding out on this, personally. Not sure why. In a way I'd like to know more about packaging and make a selection based on that, but with how limited all of these are going to be and how rabid the fanbase is, waiting isn't going to work in my favor.
  9. Dang, I still haven't gotten around to listening to the last one.
  10. I feel like they sold out within a week of going up - glad I jumped on them the first day. Had a feeling after Drive Like Jehu sold out at Showbox much earlier than I expected (I held out thinking I had plenty of time), that Chop Suey would sell out really fast. And it did.
  11. Orange jewel case or not, with a white sleeve you could really have any color vinyl for Automatic Midnight and I wouldn't complain. But I'm really not feeling the pink vinyl paired with the red Audit in Progress sleeve. That's my least favorite so I'm not hard-pressed to get it anyway. I have Suicide Invoice, may pick up Auto Midnight at some point. Definitely excited for the new album and seeing them Sunday night!
  12. Another new Ty single. It's good, but just put out an EP or something. I'm not really into bite-site chunks, I tend to not replay them. https://tysegall.bandcamp.com/track/my-ladys-on-fire
  13. I do like that track. Ordered, along with Country Teasers' The Empire Strikes Back and free shipping for both.
  14. Not thrilled by it either - but looking forward to checking out the album.
  15. Agreed that the voiceovers are far too loud/dominant and would have been better off used subtly. And they really don't work in the live show since (depending on the show's sound production) it's difficult to make out what's being said and they just come off as a distraction. I LOVED their Microtonal show earlier in the year (perfect sound separation and great set of songs), but the second time earlier this month it was a more muddy experience (different venue, inferior sound) and far too repetitive. I feel like they only played tracks from Nonagon, Microtonal, and MOTU. And we know Nonagon and MOTU are repetitive as hell. I felt bad bringing my new g/f who was just getting into them.
  16. I've listened about 3 times and like it, but don't love it. Yet? We'll see, and if I do I'll pick up the standard LP at a local store when the time comes.
  17. Would be cool to hear a full album with her on vocals - with a unique band/project name.
  18. Another new song, this time with his wife Denée Segall on vocals! https://tysegall.bandcamp.com/track/meaning
  19. I will be tonight. Still curious if I can grab it end of show or if I need to grab it early. Hate to carry/hold merch during a show.
  20. Excellent news - but I'm also waiting to pick it up locally. No sense pre-ordering this far in advance if it's not limited.
  21. There's a thread for that. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/127374-po-ocs-memory-of-a-cut-off-head-november-17
  22. You guyyyyys I just picked this up and it's really good. As you can tell from the tracks posted, it's slowed down from their usual heavier psych but super good to my ears. Great psychedelic pop/rock.
  23. Oh I like Baths, both albums so far. Will wait till release though.
