If you don't know StockX, it's a plague on the sneaker industry that has expanded to clothes, then toys like Lego and Funko, then graphics cards & PS5s, and now they're adding records. Basically anything someone can use a bot to buy up and then sell for 2-5x the original value while screwing over people trying to buy at retail is going to be resold on StockX by people that flip things for a living.
 
Will it really make a difference when we have Discogs and the like? Who knows. At the moment it seems to be 90% Travis Scott listings with a 20% markup in comparison to discogs, so the target market are resellers who don't give a shit about what they sell as long as they make a few bucks and Travis Scott fans\hypebeasts that buy a record to hand on their wall next to their Travis Scott Reese Puffs and McNugget pillow. I'm sure that even though they have their "authenticators", StockX doesn't know a damn thing about records. You can only list your ask, there's nothing about record condition to go through or anything, so if it's like sneakers and accessories, everything has to be 100% mint condition no exceptions, which is funny considering how many records come from labels with corner dings, sleeve tears and the occasional warp. Not to mention people are not going to know how to properly ship records.
 
So if you have a stash of mint sealed records from Travis Scott, Kanye or The Weeknd that you want to get rid of, you might be able to make a little more than you would off of Discogs. I hope it stays to just a selection of overhyped gimmick rap releases.

briefly, I think. Recently people on Discogs/Reddit/eBay have been paying $100+ for it because it's sold out everywhere online, but I found a copy in-store a couple months ago
 
to my knowledge, the only difference between the RSD and the repress is URP's circled "U" logo in the deadwax on the repress. pretty sure both have (identical?) hype stickers. I wonder if these new copies will also be the same packaging

I actually grabbed the black for $24 plus tax delivered to my Wal-Mart. 😄

This is the "Bible verse in your work email signature" of Kanye albums. 

It's actually a few seconds longer than LIFAD! On second listen i have to say that Tattoo (Edit: and Hallomann) is pretty cool musically, especially the riff in the beginning! A lot of the other songs are already very hard to get through though, and that on the second listen...I never had that with Rammstein songs

It's definitely out there compared to some other albums, but Weit Weg is pretty cool to me. Puppe was kind of weird but cool. I hope the other tracks grow on me, since the singles were quite good.

I still think Awake is the best thing they've released; 2016's Epoch has some incredible moments but doesn't feel quite as consistent with its staying power.  I'm really enjoying the direction of this first single, though.  At this point in the game, Tycho can afford to push their horizons a bit... and that's what I'm hoping for with LP5.

Seems like a nice package to me. The new single was pretty good and the video was incredible. I don't stake much important in track title, but maybe others do?

It is very likely that they will release 'Zeig Dich' in a few days on easter holiday. I read the lyrics from the product shot and it seems to be about the child abuses in the catholic church. If they'll release it they have chosen the perfect release date

Yeah the vinyl looks decent...my bad. Rammstein is the only band besides metallica I still buy CDs from, so i kind of meant the CD packaging . Yah, the video itself was good. For me the lyrics and the annoying background vocals by richard just didn't cut it.

This is always a good thing....new Interpol EP coming May 17th.   Also, if you read in the press release below, while supplies last, all Matador store orders worldwide will also include a vinyl only “All At Once” 7".  It will not be released on streaming services.

Echoing its title, the artwork for A Fine Mess is illustrated by a series of lost images, recovered from an abandoned police station in Detroit, MI. In a crumbling evidence room – amongst the rubble – an undeveloped roll of film, dated “1-20-96,” featured latent images of a breaking-and-entering scene, the rooms in chaos.
