It's probably for the best those threads are gone 😂

I joined this site nearly a decade ago and even at the time I had a lot to catch up on. The oldheads from the proboard days could probably assemble a coffee table book by now.
We created a hall of Fame thread at one point to archive the history @jhuluddid that survive?

I remember this clearly. I know someone hit him up and was like nice seats at the Avs game. How'd you afford those? And got a refund for whatever he was waiting for.
This. Never forget. People like them don't deserve to be around the scene. RJ still shows up to shows in NYC. Such Gold actually shouted him out and I was so pissed, like do they have no idea how much money dude stole?
Dude, this writeup was amazing. Thanks for all of that. This was definitely the place to smash refresh all day long waiting for preorders to launch. It's crazy how many of those records are worth 100s of $$s now because it was pre-vinyl explosion. Now the only POs that get posted are like WB radio bands.
Find him at a Such Gold show in NYC when shows happen again. Remember shows?
It was me, I sent him an email with the photo and said cool to s3 you at the game, wherz my $60 and I got it a couple days later 😂

HAHAHA - I will also absolutely never forget when someone (it very well may have been you) mentioned how insane it was that he (Jeff) would continually edit his post count so it was always 1337 and he came unglued lol
I haven't been here for a few years and it was a few more before then since I've been active but loved a bit of the nostalgia in this thread.
Oh my God I forgot about Jeff! Remember when he got photoshopped into everything? Man we were a bunch of assholes 😂😂😂

I mean, there was also a bonus 7-inch that was left off the CD. That was nice.
It was? I didn't realize that!

Also remember all the "extras" that came with this series? The sticker and pin?

This is so good, death Knows your name has maybe the best first two tracks for a hardcore album this century. That album is a fucking banger start to end.

I'll take any Cave In I can get. I'm so ready for the inevitable uber deluxe Jupiter repress
Fuck, it's like a top 5 all time album for me for so many reasons. I'd even buy a deluxe 3x10" of it

All I want is a reissue of antenna. The only record I don't have, can't justify $100+ for it as it's not a perfect album, but it as some absolute bangers

For anyone in Boston Ricky Beckett's print is sick

I love these 7" recordings! Went from a monthly series to Var just sending the last three together if I remember correctly

I picked up the red/yellow split of Guilt Show from Newbury's sale the other week, and this thing sounds fuckin' terrible. I can't remember if the OG press sounded this brickwalled/clipped, as I sold it many years ago, but this one will likely never hit the turntable again.
And it's basically unsellable since it was overpressed

I only really care about first pressings when it's a huge nostalgia record for me, and I was a fan of it on day one. I like knowing that these records have existed for about as long as I've loved the music. The two examples that come to mind are Deja Entendu and Good Mourning. It'd be nice to own those some day.

I will say, OG pressings do tend to make good bowls

I'm looking forward to it arriving next week, the intro track is still so good

That’s so fucked up. Like, I can see removing his photo or something, because why not be petty, but to delete his songwriting/publishing credits legit feels like it’s inviting a lawsuit.
First, fuck Steve.
Second, who cares about him getting credit at this point. The band most likely understands any risk associated with this, they're not uninformed/dummies.
Third, back to the first
