  1. Wanted the clear UK press on Bella Union, but they said it is now "sold out." Went with the Sub Pop edition. Hopefully I will score a "clear" copy. If someone has an extra clear UK press, please PM me.
  2. Still looking for this, if anyone has one they are looking to sell or trade.
  3. I bought one last time for $20. Buy it now before it goes up to $40
  4. I figured you didn't. $50USD MSRP for a double LP set is so crazy. Still, I have liked this band for a long time. If you have one when I get my tax return, I just might bite. Stay tuned.
  5. THAT was the one thing left on my RSD list... (With the exception of Simple Minds...still have sticker shock ) Thanks so much for posting!
  6. Get a "Nano Compressor" for $50... Or a used Mic Compressor on E-Bay. That should "level out" everyone if you set it up right.
  7. I actually clicked on this thinking that the album was a "compilation" put out by the college radio station in Chicago... And I "collect" those sort of things.
  8. Yeah, I had to reload twice to get the "state" box to finally show up. Used "Google Translate" to fill the forms out. Had to use my laptop, as the phone was not working. I JUST got a CD copy of this, and was cranking it in the car. I so wanted the vinyl like RIGHT now. THANKS for posting
  9. Was able to cop them this morning. Thanks for the tip!
  10. So you and your wife have "spin dates" and sit down and absorb Death Cab For Cutie albums on wax!? Damn, I was married to the wrong woman for too long.
  11. I heard that the "dutch" pressing of s/t is nice... Tempting...
  12. Thanks SO MUCH for this tip. Ordered with the QUICKNESS along with the Carnegie Hall Box
  13. I remember the etchings were "machine stamped," as most of my favorite sounding UK EMI pressings are. However, I will have to find it and compare the numbers to know if it is a first pressing for sure. I really need to organize/alphabetize my collection. It will take forever
  14. Are you sure about the OG not being 180gram? I bought the UK press of "OK Computer" back when it was a "new album" circa 1998. It is a wonderful, very warm pressing done by EMI that was on nice thick wax. Little bit of crackle at the beginning of the sides, but for me it did not detract from the enjoyment of this album. Not one of those "thin" pressings done by EMI during the 90s (Which usually sounded awesome as well, they were just easy to warp if you stored them incorrectly.) My OG OK Computer pressing resembled the "EMI Centenary" pressings around at the time, more so than your standard EMI pressing. Those thinner pressings of OK Computer might be a second run? (Or mine was...) INCREDIBLE album, BTW
  15. 1984 shows up on that Merchbar site. https://www.merchbar.com/rock-alternative/ryan-adams/ryan-adams-1984 Still need that elusive "Carnegie Hall."
  16. Thanks for your review. You know I read a "bad review" from a member here, so every time I had it in my hand, I passed on it. I heard the MOFI CD sounds incredible for this title, and even contains an "earlier" mix of Head Over Heels that is a tad longer that the final version. Guess that proves they used the "real" master tape for that one. Would love to find that for less than $50-$75
