I really like the record after some repeated listens, but it's definitely over compressed, something the last Twilight Singers record suffered from. Dulli should really get someone else to master these records in the future

Saw this last week in Montreal, it's really really good. The "wild west" segment following the label's loss of direction after the death of Dilla is particularly great.

First off, hi fives to Human Ton and Handy for helping me out on this - I haven't had a chance to pop this on yet, but the packaging was pretty off-putting for the price...I really wish these reissues would be priced accordingly, I'm fine with paying a bit more if I get better packaging and maybe even some liner notes or something...a sleeve and a slab o wax for $25 is pretty steep

i thought the nirvana 2xlp was supposed to be on clear? no failures in montreal unfortunately

anyone else from Canada not get this? a buddy and me in Montreal still haven't received ours, but a friend of mine in Halifax got his like a mth ago...

totally caved and got this (white with blue haze) and the album before the last - never got that...at this rate i might as well get rid of the cd versions i have...

NUFAN are HUGE in Montreal (they'd still sell out 2k capacity halls here), so I'm not surprised they're on it since they're from Mtl

jesus, is this out of print already??? i actually just pulled mine out a few nights ago, great pressing. managed to have gotten mine signed by greg edwards when i interviewed him a couple years ago.

Geez this looks amazing...Are they breaking up though? I don't really see a point to making a huge exhaustive collection if the band is still together. Still, Temp Residence ALWAYS puts out quality.

finally got around to listening to mine and it does in fact sound great (minus some sqeaky sounds at the beginning of the first track...anyone else have this? i don't think this was on the mp3s...)...my only comment/question, asides from pretty much the same thing everyone else has been complaining about re: the packaging/price - is this REALLY a 180g record?? it seems pretty thin...

this interviewed blake on my radio show a few mths back and he said that a knapsack reunion is a possibility, it just will take some planning and for it to feel right. i'll try to post the interview online

Oddly enough, after hearing NOTHING by horrible stories of this label's mailorder, I had no problem with the Wild Nothings Lim. Ed. preorder, but I had pretty much the same situation you had with the Soft Moon order I made. FINALLY someone answered my emails/tweets in December (which, honestly I think was prompted after a friend of mine who knows someone at the label told me he'd contact them regarding this), and they responded saying they somehow forgot to mail me the LP... I asked them if they could change the address to where I would be (visiting my sister for a couple weeks), they said yes and to send them the new address...after this, no confirmation of receiving the new address, nor any response to any emails subsequent to that asking them if it had been shipped...and to WHERE. Fast forward into mid January, I'm back at home...and lo' and behold the package arrives...AT MY SISTER'S. Thx guys...

I was so tempted to get this, but $40 is ridiculous...plus I keep holding out for a proper repress/remaster with liners etc. Why don't they just DO THAT??
