Well, just go ahead and spring for all 3. That gets you over the $65 threshold and you get free shipping.

Thanks for this. Came to about $35USD with shipping after that promo code. Well worth it.

Wow, jumping to conclusions. Would never has guessed that with some of the people on this board.
The whole point of Vinyl Me, Please is to get into stuff you wouldn't normally catch so I'm doing just that. The brief descriptions of what I read compare them to My Bloody Valentine, which is a band I enjoy immensely. That coupled with some buzz and excitement is all I needed to pull the trigger. Plus it just looks like a cool release.
Some of you make it sound like you've never bought music based on a recommendation....get over yourselves.

Just blind bought A Sunny Day in Glasgow based on the excitement level here and some quickly read reviews. Hoping for the best!

The fuck are you talking about there isn't any hype for this at all. Maybe he likes the people who are exciteds taste and figured it was a solid bet.
It beats deciding to beg the board for deals after figuring out a preorder was sought after.

I enjoyed Living Thing for what it was, but the two records after are very forgettable and can often be had for cheap.

Really wish Cuphead was coming to PS4. LP set looks awesome though.

Newbury is a retail store not a record label. Any consistency you may find in their exclusive variants would be coincidence as there are different labels and pressing plants involved in each one.

Even though I bought some a couple of weeks ago they reeled me back in with this stupid coupon code. Damn you Newbury, stop releasing things I want.
What do you guys think of the overall quality of these pressings? I recently bought the Odyssey and Oracle tri-color and it has significant popping (and even skipping) in some areas. I'd complain and return but they're all gone. Plus it looks too damn cool. Still though, a brand new $35 LP should be nice and clean.

This would happen now that I finally bought something last week.

Can't imagine hearing this stuff at a festival. Talk about a downer.

REALLY good album. Definitely a nice change in direction for their sound thanks to Julian's guitar work. Martin still sounds like Martin tho so if you like his voice on previous albums you'll love him here. I recommend checking out Serve the Song and Saturday and if you like those you'll like the album. I feel like Serve is a great showcase for Julian's guitar playing.

Guilt Show is a great album...definitely the type of record they should have put out after STWHA.

I think you want to follow this thread: Downward Is Heavenward
Seems like Matt rejected the first TPs 2 years ago or more now, and got in the 2nd batch which he implied were acceptable.
Then they did some shows, and then nothing on IG since. And wisely, no one bumped the thread linked above, which is being followed by 18 people, and I'm sure lurkers abound. I would bet he is just getting up the mental strength to do finish this major PITA. No telling how many more beers it will take.

Grade is criminally underrated. Still don't quite understand why Headfirst was only a picture disc.

not complete...but slowly working at it.

pepperonigin got a reaction from Rip in PO Now: Gorillaz - Humanz (Also the 'OG' Discussion Thread)
It's a bit of a slow burn and there are some tracklisting issues that mess with the flow but some of their best tunes are on that album for sure. Glad you were able to revisit it successfully.
