  1. Sick. I’m sure it’ll be uploaded to Spotify and everything.
  2. I bet we get an album announcement or rollout before or after they headline When We Were Young
  3. Interesting to see the label releasing this is former Roadrunner A&R, who have two bands: Code Orange …and Spiritual Cramp. Very unexpected to see SC in that mix.
  4. The Whaler is so so so good. I didn’t think they could follow up Birds so strongly.
  5. Gwauk are great. Been following them since they popped up in 2020. Twinkle has been really dead and lost on me. It seems like one a band a year comes around and actually sounds like they’re trying. Ben Quad and Sweet Pill are probably those bands for me. I really like Snow Ellet and FOOTBALLHEAD who are more power-pop/indie.
  6. It entirely depends on what you’re after. The more specifics (pressing, color, quality) you care about the more you’ll be better off shopping online and on resale marketplaces.
  7. I’ll def pick that up if I find it locally. I got the tape when they were touring last summer.
  8. There’s tons and tons of shops, bars, and restaurants there. Right across from Reckless is Emporium, which is a fun barcade. You’ll def find a lot of stuff walking down Milwaukee Ave.
  9. I usually spend a lot of time in Wicker Park when I'm visiting, so the Reckless Records in Wicker Park is always a must. I was actually there last week for like 20 mins and spent $125 easily on used hardcore records. I've only been to the Lakeview location once, but found some excellent stuff there, too. Bric a Brac is a cool eclectic store, too. I think the only other place I've been to that's still open is Shuga... the prices there were craaazy.
  10. Little Big League are a part of Michelle’s book, which is going to be a movie now… so that’ll be interesting.
  11. There’s a Live at Third Man, too! It’s like always at the record store for $15! I signed up for email notifications when this new one came back in stock and nabbed one last week when I got the email. So lucky, that never usually never works out for me.
  12. Y’all see that Tiny Engines is back? https://www.brooklynvegan.com/tiny-engines-relaunches-under-new-management-structure/
  13. join facebook groups and get kicked out of them like everyone else
  14. Saw MSPAINT and Blind Equation in a practice space my bands used to practice at. So good. I saw the Weezer tour a few weeks ago and was floored but the setlist. Truly so so good. Was in Detroit and caught Spiritual Cramp at Third Man Records. Rocked ass.
  15. I think Superheaven specifically caught on with people while they were on hiatus. Their streaming numbers are stupid big now! But I don’t think I ever remember Superheaven even being headliners or a band people really celebrated. It’s super cool to see them lean into being appreciated now.
  16. I’m 32 and they only came thru my area after Goodness came out. Both shows i saw had under 100 people at them. Excited to see to potentially see them with people who care dearly.
  17. Got the triple b /200 Cant wait to see how fast this first pressing run sells out
  18. That’s me! One of the soft b*tches here. Thanks for making me feel seen ❤️
  19. Was hoping they’d at least be playing more fests than S&F, but it seems like everyone in that band is on some adult shit (respectfully)
