for like 50 dollars less than normal.

I am so torn on this one.
I have one and it's such a pain in the ass to take out and play (or to store it in any other way than the frame) but the music on it is so good!!!!!!

For what it's worth, isn't the PS1 supposed to be equivalent in quality to a $6,000 cd player?
I haven't read much into this, but I seem to remember hearing that before, so don't quote me.
It may be worth someone buying or you holding onto for a cd player if so.

I recently have picked up some audiophile classical stuff and six very cool college rock radio show programs circa 1989-90 on LP with interviews and songs with Bob Mould, Nirvana, Flaming Lips, Pixies, Pere Ubu, Stiff Little Fingers, Swans, Adrian Belew, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Red Kross, Suicide, Minor Threat and tons of other bands.  $0.49 each and all in seemingly unplayed condition.  The radio shows even came with the program notes and other paperwork for the stations to fill out and send back and a couple have flyers to photocopy and hang up around campus advertising the show content... pretty badass find!!

Houses of the Holy reissues were recalled due to the mispressing on "The Ocean" ... Haven't heard anything regarding another pressing yet.

Not off hand, supposedly only the US pressings had the issue. Amazon should be aware of it, just look at the reviews it got. If I find anything I'll share it.

I think you may have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement, but take a look through this site. It talks all about the issue described here.

By my math my next RC VIP package will have at least 14 records in it (6 diff Sway colors, the Night Schools, the recent Archive represses (to go with my OGs) and the Marshmallow Ghosts a shirt and Bonar CD)

I told him I didn't want to part with it, but gave him the heads up that maybe more would come along since The YPaA were recently relisted on Earth Analog.
If anyone on here has a copy of Electra 2000 and would like to help him out (he said it was for a Christmas present and is offering 100 bucks) let me know and I can try to put the two of you in touch.
