I somehow managed to score a splatter copy on eBay the other day for $10.00 and It arrived today in mint condition. This album is amazing and the pressing is beautiful.

If the movie is anything like the book then it'll be great.

So not only does this avoid a few of the (minor) qualms I have with ToT – which is still an album I can enjoy, don't get me wrong – but what it does right, it really does right.  You ever listen to chord progressions or vocal melodies and feel like your brain wants to "fill them in" with an appealing direction, only to have the songs take completely random turns and embrace a weird tangent?  That never happens for the entire duration of this album and I love it.  I don't know if I'm making sense, but this record sounds what it feels like to scratch a really good itch.  The structure and melodies are really doing it for me.  Earlier I texted a friend that it feels like the best parts of Guilty of Everything, but strung out across an entire album.  I don't want to jump the gun after listening for just a few days, but I think this may be my sleeper-nomination for shoegaze AOTY, unless I've spaced on something.

Maybe it's just me, but in the recent years I felt less and less interest in topshelf releases, same goes to Run for cover as well.  I'm just getting old.

What the fuck do you think you're entitled to then? A REFUND on top of that? Get fucked.

You're entitled to your opinion, just like I'm entitled to mine. I'm not hurting anyone by questioning this dude and I'm not doing anything motivated by hate, so I don't see the problem or the joke.
Unlike a lot of my generation, I think people should work hard, save money, and be prepared for a bad situation if it arises. I guess that makes me old fashioned and apparently a bad person in some of your eyes. If so, so be it.
Like I said, it's not that I don't feel bad for him. I have a ton of empathy for the guy. Cancer sucks. But I have my reasons for how I feel, and I'm allowed to feel this way.

If you like the deal relapse is now offering people who had their deluxe orders canceled, you can say thank you. They weren't going to do anything for us. I have been talking with the band since Friday and giving Relapse a piece of my mind. Nothing helped me get that offer together. I'M satisfied with it, I took em up on the offer. I still want my deluxe and will pray I get an email that more came in, otherwise eBay it is. Again huge props to Nothing for listening to my complaints and getting at relapse to make things right.

Listening to Side A, I was thinking they are really rocking out in this album.
