Picking this up for sure. That article has some pretty interesting info about the new album release and a possible partial release of Eros. Curious to see if it's true or not. 

DECAY?

The bassist had a genuine apology and learned to stop his racist ways which is the end goal that we want for all racists, right? To stop being racist? So instead of accepting his acknowledgement and change, they kick him out. I don't believe the band when they said they thought it was "a rumor." Like, what? Just ask him and the people involved. Sit everyone down together and talk. That doesn't take 5 years or however long it was. I'd say the band is more in the wrong for trying to act like it didn't happen all along and then kicking him out. Sounds like they're more afraid to confront racism than the bassist. That's just my take. I don't know every in and out of the situation. If someone is going to learn to stop being racist and continue to make efforts to do such we should accept them. Pretty sure if I almost died with my bandmates I wouldn't kick one out over something they've recognized as wrong.

Farewell is on the LP. Just not Good Morning and Pirouette.. which is a shame because those 2 tracks are great. Hopefully they’ll release them on a 7” at some point.

Came here to say this.  They sound how they should have sounded.

I think my appreciation for Migrant stems from how I take in music. I love being able to sit down with a great album, listen to it in full with accompanying lyrics, and just solely focus on the music. However, that probably only accounts for 10% of my listening habits. I have a ridiculously short attention span, and am usually doing something else while I listen to music (driving, working, web browsing, etc). So the majority of what i listen to is easily digestible, less nuanced music. Which is why I think albums like Migrant appeal to me more.
 
 The great  albums with vast soundscapes and incredible songwriting  don’t usually click with me unless i sit down and take them all in without any distractions. 
 
In truth, I’ve only done what I described above with Act I. Acts II and III I thoroughly enjoy, but have yet to give them that deep listen.

I still can’t wrap my head around this logic. Unless you’re a fairweather collector, $40 PPD for a double LP is at the high end, but still, in the “normal” range. 
 
Especially for a band putting it out themselves, in a day in age where “let’s support bands” is very much needed. Norma Jean weren’t packing out 1000 cap rooms before any of this started...

Really loving this album! The guest appearances by members of blink-182 and Beartooth are awesome! I think The Lighthouse and Bloody Nose have to be my favorite tracks. Definitely hear some Lies for the Liars underpinnings.

I might have a vinyl rip of it. I’ll have to double check when I get home. 
 
In other news, I’m stoked for their new album. The 2 singles they dropped are probably the best they’ve ever sounded. 

I literally caved and purchased this on Sunday. Been wanting it for awhile. I almost thought this bump was going to mean it was on sale. 😅
